The Alpha Ship Defence Corps is a relatively small military organization, with all of its ships being pretty well armed for their size. It was created in the shadow of the IMDC, even refitting their ships for awhile. I'm now dedicated to the development and continuation of ships that share the classic IMDC feeling and ruggedness while also making them able to go toe-to-toe with similar designs. That said, I'm mainly a hardware producer of spacecraft and other vessels, and not so much into the stationary base building business.

The ASDC’s ships are traditionally fairly simplistic. No weird small grid detailing, no over the top engineering magic. They are meant to work, be reliable, and be understandable, and therefore easily fixed. I’m going for the Toyota pick up truck of space ships here.
I will note that certain subsideries of the ASDC- here's looking at you, Beta Ship Defense Corps -don't have the same technical restraints.

ASDC registry explanation: “DSR” stands for “defense ship registration”. The first digit says what type of ship it is. 1 is shuttle, 2 is corvette, 3 is cruiser, 4 is battleship, and the far rarer 5 is dreadnaught. The next few digits say specifically what class of ship it is- For example, DSR-31 Is a frigate because of the 3, and the only 1 followed by a 3 is designated to the Mjolnir class. So, DSR-31 can be used to identify a ship's specific class. A following digit after a hyphen will specify what ship of that class it is. DSR-31-1 is the Mjolnir-class DS Mjolnir, Mjolnir-class, and is separate to whatever the DSR-31-2 Is. If you were wondering, the DS before a ship's name is basically the equivalent to USS.

Typically, the ship registry and name is on a plague in the bridge. On shuttles it’s probably in the workshop description or name.
