Faction Discovery

Added a new faction mod and have to start a new game? Not anymore!

Faction Discovery will make sure you have the recommended amount of (hidden) bases for your new faction on the world map when you load your game the next time.

This means you don't need a new game to use this mod. It can also be removed at any point.
You do need HugsLib, however.

@Sentient_Worm did you find what was causing your problem. im having the same problem and my games pretty heavly modded wich is making it a pain going through everything 1 by 1.

Yes, you can add and remove this mod any time.

Is it possible to add this mod in mid save after removing Faction Control to avoid the conflict? It is confirmed that it is safe to remove Faction Control mid save, so I wonder if this is the way to use both of the mods in the same save.

I don't have much time for modding, though, so I spend most of my focus on what my patrons would like to see.

If it happens again I can provide one but its not caused by faction discovery.
The issue is something to do with apparel generation on world pawns. It prevents mod factions from spawning and only generates 1 base for the vanilla factions. During my testing I did find that I can use faction discovery to add the missing factions after the Inital gen if I find and remove the offending mod

I don't suppose you could add a limit to tech level option? It would be useful for adding new factions to a medieval game. Currently the mod readds all the high tech factions that medieval mods remove.
