Yeah, that tracks.
Saved characters have their idle poses stored as a list of frame names, like the list items in /humanoid.config. So if this mod alters the frames file to have a "foo" alias, that "foo" will be stored in the character file. Uninstall the mod, and the "foo" alias won't exist in the frames file any more. Not unlike why the felin body and arm sprites disappear when creating a character.
