Description




  • This mod changes the UI to an LCARS style, including sounds

  • Make sure to use this mod in combination with the main mod
    "Star Trek: New Horizons"


  • 4.1.5 compatible




  • Only keep these mods active in your playset:

  • Star Trek: New Horizons

  • TNG Submod (optional) –Only use this mod, if you want to play from 2300 onwards. And make sure to pick a "TNG" map when starting a new game.

  • 1 Star Trek: New Horizons UI (optional) – Do not activate multiple UI mods under playsets, this will cause crashes.

  • Music Mod (optional)



  • UI rework
  • new font
  • Sounds

sry it's a lot of work (about 3700+ files)
and maintaining them is a pain, since PDX is releasing patches like there's no tomorrow^^
the 4.0 release is a perfect example for that (16 patches already)

Do you do/have enough time for commision to make a UI submod pack.

I am so busy making and coding other stuff for my total conversion, I would rather just commision a service to make these GUI submods I had planned

you only need 2 programs:
a graphic program like for example photoshop/gimp
and a text editor for example notepad++

then you could start by changing the relevant graphic files.

if you type in : "guibounds" into the console ingame (or click on guibounds") and then hover over something,
that will (often) show you where you can change it (adjust its position and such)

The UI mods will be updated when the main STNH mod is ready for 4.0.
