Description
The Vision
This mod is based on the 2000's era of software development, and it includes everything from startups to encryption. All softwaretypes are created to be as realistic and proffesional as possible. Keep an eye out for updates!

This mod will work with the latest official release as well as the current beta testing version

The Scenarios
Startup
Start your game as a young company and take over the world with a little help from early investors!
Goal: Become a unicorn ($1bn before 2020)

Studio
Start your company as a small development studio and evolve into a software giant!
Goal: Become a major developer ($500mn before 2020)

Games and Game Engines are disabled when using this mod, however I do plan on releasing an additional mod that focuses purely on those software types, just thought it would make sense to disable them for now.

yeah, if i knew how to mod properly, i would do it myself. if you manage to do this, kenneth, i would be thankful^^ (and try to modify it a bit so it doesn't remove too much old stuff, basically what wizard was complaining about)

Its a dead mod cos maker has a dead and gone Steam account - Disregard the mod forever unless another person decides to pick it up where the OP left off.

hey modmaker, i just want you to know, if you ever come back again:

it's a real bummer that you are able to make game engines, but you're not able to make games.
i would like to control every aspect of one's life, from office software over OSes to games.
now, after i've already released OSes for everything, with all features there are, software, office software and so on with every feature, there is no new software to make.
having the ability to make games would solve this problem, because you can always make games, there are so many different kinds of games.

i like this mod because of the scenarios with winning conditions and the extra software, but removing an aspect of the game, even if it would fit, seems just weird to me.

also, if the mod maker is gone, does that mean we can copy/modify/republish this mod ourselves now, since it belongs to no one now?
