Description
The 4th Unique Component Project is a mod that gives every civilization a 4th unique unit, building, or improvement.

For use with the 3rd Unique Component mod:

This project is modular, meaning that you can delete specific components and substitute your own. Just go into the mod folder (Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 5\MODS\(4UC)-4th Unique Component) and delete the specific civilization's folder.

This mod REQUIRES the Brave New World expansion. It is compatible with other mods, as long as basic building functionality is not changed.

To display the 4th component in the leader select screen, you must install the Enhanced User Interface. It is not installed like a normal mod. While not required for this mod, it is strongly recommended for every Civ player. It is available here: http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=512263

3rd and 4th Unique Component mods show up and work fine for me. Thank you, exactly what I've needed to make civilizations more interesting!

@IAIWE Doge's Palace gives the same science as normal Palace (+3), but also more culture and more defence. Seing how it has the same gold and production output, I don't think more science was intended.

Idk about Chasqui, haven't tried what you did. And why you talk about Pathfinder if it's Shoshone unique? Do you mean Scout? I don't have the upgrade icon at the start of the game either. Also try to use "Scout to Explorer" mod, maybe it will help.

This mod doesn't show up on the in-game mod list anymore. I love it and I want to use it, but I haven't been able to in so long. The 3rd Unique Component mod shows up, and every other mod I subscribe to does, but not this one. Is there some kind of explanation for why this one particular mod would stop appearing in the mod menu?

Seems this mod is not working properly anymore for me. None of my buildings have descriptions anymore. When hovering over then it is just empty so not possible to see what the buildings actually do.

@Malata Societa' Official Most Civilizations only have two "Unique Components" (ie, Bazaar and Camel Archer for Arabia, or Samurai and Zero for Japan). "3rd Unique Component" gives each civilization another unique component. and Fourth Unique Component (this mod) gives each Civ yet another one on top of that.

I found another weird thing with the 3UC and 4UC mod.

Venice, "Doge's Palace", gives +3 Science. A normal palace gives +6 Science. This makes Venice extremely worthless. When I found the city of Venice, it would take me 30 turns (Epic speed) to research my first tech.

That doesn't seem normal, right?

I have tried to find somewhere where this bug is posted, but can't find it anywhere, and I'm not quite sure where to post it, so I'll contact you here.

Chasqui, the unique Inca unit, crashes the game.
When you start the game, and hover over the upgrade icon of the pathfinder, it crashes. When I at turn 20 turned my pathfinder back to upgrade him at my own territory, the game crashed when it was my pathfinders turn to move.

Once I have been able to upgrade him by pressing 'U', but all the other times the game crashes. I have conducted several different approaches to conclude that it *is* in fact the pathfinder/Chasqui that bugs out.

Only using the entire Vox Populi mod set, nothing else.

Also, big thanks and love for the 3 and 4UC! <3
