3rd and 4th Unique Component mods show up and work fine for me. Thank you, exactly what I've needed to make civilizations more interesting!

@IAIWE Doge's Palace gives the same science as normal Palace (+3), but also more culture and more defence. Seing how it has the same gold and production output, I don't think more science was intended.

Idk about Chasqui, haven't tried what you did. And why you talk about Pathfinder if it's Shoshone unique? Do you mean Scout? I don't have the upgrade icon at the start of the game either. Also try to use "Scout to Explorer" mod, maybe it will help.

This mod doesn't show up on the in-game mod list anymore. I love it and I want to use it, but I haven't been able to in so long. The 3rd Unique Component mod shows up, and every other mod I subscribe to does, but not this one. Is there some kind of explanation for why this one particular mod would stop appearing in the mod menu?

Seems this mod is not working properly anymore for me. None of my buildings have descriptions anymore. When hovering over then it is just empty so not possible to see what the buildings actually do.

@Malata Societa' Official Most Civilizations only have two "Unique Components" (ie, Bazaar and Camel Archer for Arabia, or Samurai and Zero for Japan). "3rd Unique Component" gives each civilization another unique component. and Fourth Unique Component (this mod) gives each Civ yet another one on top of that.

I found another weird thing with the 3UC and 4UC mod.

Venice, "Doge's Palace", gives +3 Science. A normal palace gives +6 Science. This makes Venice extremely worthless. When I found the city of Venice, it would take me 30 turns (Epic speed) to research my first tech.

That doesn't seem normal, right?

I have tried to find somewhere where this bug is posted, but can't find it anywhere, and I'm not quite sure where to post it, so I'll contact you here.

Chasqui, the unique Inca unit, crashes the game.
When you start the game, and hover over the upgrade icon of the pathfinder, it crashes. When I at turn 20 turned my pathfinder back to upgrade him at my own territory, the game crashed when it was my pathfinders turn to move.

Once I have been able to upgrade him by pressing 'U', but all the other times the game crashes. I have conducted several different approaches to conclude that it *is* in fact the pathfinder/Chasqui that bugs out.

Only using the entire Vox Populi mod set, nothing else.

Also, big thanks and love for the 3 and 4UC! <3

When I try to use this mod, or any of the Unique Upgrades mods, the game doesn't let me pick the leaders for the AI. I'm using the Really Advanced Setup mod and when I try to pick the leaders, it does not let me

@mikeburnfire: Portugal has 2 UUs that both replace the caravel. However, one is ranged, so shouldn't that replace the Galleas?

I'v tried Huns, but did'nt get animal husbandry at start with this mod enabled. About Zulu, he gets Izinduna at start, or as the first Great General, when theres enough points?

I currently have no plans to expand this mods to incorporate other ModCivs. However, with a little bit of studying, you could easily make a few more components yourself!

Not sure if this mod is still updated but, I'm having trouble with the unit portraits. They appear to be really low resolution/pixely. I run Civ 5 on a pretty crappy laptop, so it would'nt suprise me in the slightest if its just a graphics issue. Anyways, I was just wondering if their was a fix anyone had used before. Thanks.

MikeBurnFire - would it at all be possible to make a 3/4UC for the Colonialist Legacies' Benito Juarez's Mexico just as you've done for Australia and Canada? Or for Leugi's Gran Colombia?

I realize it's a bit specific, but (using some workaround mod) I use your 3/4UC mod in multiplayer with friends and it's hard to choose between the wonderful work you've done on pre-existing civs or the prospect of additional civs. Would this be at all possible at any point?

Not quite sure what happened - might be on my end of things - but this mod has disappeared from my mod list. If I remember right, I clicked update on it a while ago, it did the usual disappear from the mod list while it updated, and then never reappeared. The 3rd unique unit mod is still there and working fine. Not sure what went wrong. I loved using this mod before, so I'd like to get it back somehow.

The Moroccan UB works. Since the culture bonus is a percentage and the game rounds down, it will be difficult to notice any changes in the early game. You will essentially get +1 Culture for every 7 Culture in your city.

Also, this mod has been updated to version 10. The components for Greece and Portugal have been changed based on user feedback.

This is a common problem with all Civ mods. If you continue to have that problem, I suggest using the Direct Download link provided above (above the credits) and follow any of the guides that show you how to manually install a mod. Good luck.

Hi I subscribed to both 3UC & 4UC a long time ago, and it still hasn't showed up in the mod select screen. Please help? Sorry I'm not very bright with mods :/

All other mods I have subscribed since shows up, just not 3UC & 4UC, and I don't intend on downloading the enhanced user interface if it just shows info during the leader select screen...

If you have the Enhanced User Interface installed, but still can't see the components on the leader select screen, then the mod isn't activated. If you continue to have problems, you should consult one of the guides on how to manually install mods, and download the file from CivFanatics instead (link to direct download is in the above description).

Hello. I've just installed the mod and UI as well. However I only can see 3rd unit but not 4th from the menu screen. Could you pls let me know how I can fix this?

Yes, they will work as long as they don't change the default civilizations. For example, "Tojo's Japan" and "3UC" both give the default Japan a Barracks, which causes problems.

Hapshetsut's Egypt, Hannibal's Carthage, Haakon's Norway, Mehmed's Turks, Arminius's Germans, Hitler's Germany, Roosevelt's America, and Tojo's Japan all have this problem.
