These are reskins I did to dress the rest of the team in a black uninforms.

White textures are ALMOST done, I have a couple of bug to iron out before I can release them, but soon!

This pack also includes the Black Medic Skins I posted earilier.

To use,

The Workshop texture (vtf) will download to your

common\SourceFilmmaker\game\workshop\materials\models\player\{class}

folder.

Load a player or HWM class model... Right click the model and add an override materials then show the model in the element viewer

Scroll down and click the + beside materials then find

For the player model,

1) the main_class material and expand it,
2) right click on material header name and add a string attribute... name it $basetexture This will turn the parts of the model that are affected buy yhe material black and purple,
3) click the data beside the new $basetexture material and add models\player\class\{old material name less the color}_black and hit enter,
4) the player model will turn into the black material

For the HWM model

1) For some of the HWM models some of the materials expected to turn black may stay the original color. This means that there is another material that paints it. I have tried to include these in the pack . For example, the scout's nopack,the medic's and engi's gloves, and the SFM Sniper.
2) If You notice that the material stayed the original color.
a) Find the item that is staying it's original color and expand it,
b) add a new string attribute and name it $basetexture (they'll turn black and purple),
c) then beside the new attribute in the data column add the original skin name substituting the color name with black
d) This should turn the item black.

Your models should look like the description picture if done properly

For some reason the $basetexture command doesn't work for me

When I turn the spy's mask to black and use face posing the mouth area turns red.

So, what you are saying is that you weren't using it properly and finally did and it worked. Because, I haven't changed anything here and it went from not working for you to working for you.
