Description
Important note!: Successful construction of each of these ships requires a note of Projector wisdom. First, when viewing the "pivot axis", placing a 'new ship', and maneuvering blocks until a Projector is placed correctly aligned with the Pivot Axis. The |-side faces green, the + side faces blue, which will make the 'right side' face towards red (there is no marker on the Projector for this side). Following this, place a small reactor to the REAR of the projector, facing AWAY from the projector. Power it, and select your blueprint. The projector and reactor are incorporated into the final design, and these are NOT currently arranged for factory production (though a pivot-axis savvy fellow could easily accomplish this.) Keep in mind that upon completion, many of my ships have their reactors primarily serving as relays and conveyors, and are inaccessible, even to put in initial Uranium, and so cannot power a system to initially draw Uranium from a container, but =all= of them have an 'emergency reactor' which always has at least one accessible facing, in the case of these Blueprints, the reactor placed behind the Projector serves that function as well (which is the importance of placing them correctly)

You will also note a few of my ships have "Blast-Door" armor variants, and wonder why, when Blast Door is actually only moderately effective armor. The reason is the purely industrial intent of these craft exposes them to more danger via bumps and rocks, than actual weapons fire, and blast door is a safer route than armor in many cases, to handle this challenge. It does face the disadvantage of more potential catastrophic failure, because of the minimal mounting opportunities for Blast Door, but most of my designs have overcome that to some degree, and are fully vetted... if a little ugly to some tastes!

One last thing... these ships are designed to be dependable, stalwart, and useful in every circumstance. To that end, I have deliberately avoided using =any= mods in these craft, so they can be used in any Space Engineers server!

"Lego" medium industry ship, designed to support eight grinder/welder tools in any combination around a centered cockpit (or in a severe pinch, Drills and cunningly placed conveyors can be rigged to function as well). Constructing, or deconstructing, even the largest armored structures is a cinch for the Lego, the primary feature of the design being that no thruster wash leaves the armored frame. The concept for the Lego came from working inside a massive platform, and constant frustration with proximity to walls, and hard-to-trace thruster damage. When in any of the armored forms, even if the pedal is floored and it's pushed right up against a wall, the Lego will leave nothing but scratches. Based on this, I desired as many tools as I could get, with no thruster damage potential, and a large cargo container with a connector. The Lego is the (over)engineered product of that, with such a tight interior, there's almost no room for expansion! The Lego comes in a basic unarmored "Stripped" version, a "Minimal Armor" version intended to economically protect the Lego from bumps and bruises, a "Standard Heavy" fully armored version, and a "Blast-Door" armored version. None of these are armed.

"Betamax" light industry ship, designed to be 'the smallest useful package with two tools, a Large Container, Cockpit, and a Connector" that I could get away with. Initially, the Betamax had no vertical control thrusters, because the design was too small to absorb the thruster damage! However, that proved untenable for all but the most capable pilots, and they were added. The Betamax is smaller and somewhat more nimble than the Lego, but also carries its payload somewhat less protected than the Lego. However, it's quite a quick build in a hasty Survival game, which can make all the difference! The Betamax is offered in a basic unarmored "Stripped" version, a "Standard Heavy" armored version, and a "Blast-Door" armored version. None of these are armed.

"Floppy" starter drill-ship, designed to be a super-rapid, low cost, reliable platform with the mission goal of "Drills, with some kind of cargo, and a connector" (the connector has adequate cargo room for my demands and this vehicle has no other cargo room). This vehicle is PURELY to get an initial start off the ground right, and lacks many of the amenities of more mid-game, capable craft... pure luxuries spared only, I promise. Luxuries like forward-facing thrusters. The way to slow this otherwise dangerous vehicle, is to fishtail repeatedly as you near your destination, and let the side thrusters reduce your velocity little by little. That said, it masses about as much as a large loaf of bread, and the drills don't mind being bumped around a bit. The magic speed seems to be under about 10m/s, at which you can meet rock, and not meet your doom. If truly desired, a forward facing thruster can be added alongside any of the mid-sides, with little impact on the vehicle's drilling performance.

"Masterssembler" heavy industry ship, designed to have a staggering amount of industrial capability, serving as a base of operations for large and small craft alike. Equipped primarily with refining and production facilities, but also featuring numerous docking opportunities, as well as an easily accessible (at least, in the unarmored variant) suite of eight grinders and eight welders, the Masterssembler is quite ready to re-equip, resupply, rearm, refine, repair, reclaim, or with the copious maneuverability, remove itself from any situation! Every port on this lean craft is fully conveyor-compliant with no wasteful conveyor blocks or tubes (darn those construction components!), and this vessel is quite much the pride of my work. The Masterssembler comes with rather than several, only two variants: "Standard" unarmored and unarmed, and "I Accidentally A Destroyer", very thickly armored, with a quartet of turrets on each facing. There are no forward-facing weapons on the Masterssembler, as it is still even through heavy armor and armament, designed to support industrial operations. All turrets are of course fully supported by the interior, which is in fact the limiting factor in their placement.

There are going to be more, many more in the same vein as these three vessels. Stay tuned, comments, critique, and feedback more than welcome, highly encouraged.
