Description
Many thanks to NanaNana for made the l4d2-aim-down-sight plugin[github.com], and to kouga for let me know about it.
I have never used ADS before, and I can't see the source code, So I don't know how far I can go. If you notice any weird animations, report it with a link to the weapon model so I can test and try to fix it.

Q: How to make it work?
A: Install the ADS models, here are some collections:

Q: Vanilla weapons?
A: No, but whereisme[AI] made some.

Q: How to enable ADS?
A: Same as plugin, press the ZOOM button (middle mouse), you can change it in settings.
A: The latest version supports bind any key. If you are using BUTTON_WALK, it is strongly recommended to switch to the new method. This can solve the problem of stuck on ADS when in walk areas such as THE SACRIFICE hill. First open the settings file and change ActivateButton to 0. Then type bind "anykey" "+ads_switch" in the console, to bind a special key, see here.

Q: What is the difference with the plugin?
A: Easy to use, just subscribe.
A: Fixed & adjusted some animations, fixed not exit ADS when released the minigun and ladder, optimized the anim of the last two bullets for dual pistols, always play the empty reload anim after emptying the magazine (modifiable), fixed shove will cancel the reload anim while ADS enabled, automatically choose the toggle mode or holding mode.
A: Unfortunately, there's no way to reduce bullet spread when ADS enabled, all I can do is give you a laser sight.

Q: Can I use it online?
A: It should be. Not recommended, you need to install the ADS models in local, and install this mod and the same ADS models on the server.
A: Because of the lag, the animations will spasms/flicker (video from Cidadão de Mal ☭), plugin also has this issue, and I think never have a fix for the lag issues, but increase the value of cl_updaterate might help (only for host or clients with low ping).
A: If you really want use ADS online, see some beautiful work from 🧋🍰💮Mialy💮🍱🍓 and Artillery Rain.

Can you explain why, in a local game, when I shoot, the aiming animation always crashes? I mean, when I aim and shoot, the aiming animation crashes. Is there a way to fix this or will it always be like this? It's just not very pleasant when you want to play with friends with this addon and it has this bug.

For the multiplayer lag, the solution I found was to add fire animations to the skins, so that when you shoot, the animations activate automatically. I did this in my mod called "George A. Romero Dead Mode," so the weapons no longer flicker. To create an ADS animations mod, simply change the origin in Blender 3D and position it where the weapon's crosshairs would be with the cursor.

I've encountered a rather peculiar problem. I don't know why, but there's a specific bug in The Parish with the rifle versions for the M16, specifically on the bridge when facing the tanks. I don't know why this is happening. Can anyone help me? What happens is that the music and some sound effects get corrupted, and the game suffers a drop in FPS.
