btw, you can modify the "fov_desired" to change the actually fov.
fov_desired - default 90, min 75.

I knew about this bug before, it was caused by the "GetClientConvarValue" function, but I haven't figure out why it would occur. Anyway, I'll post a fix soon.

Play about 20~30min, aim down sight will keep in aiming or not aiming animation, try to type !ads reload won't work, only way is to exit the map and launch another one, but the bug comes out again, please help.

Can you explain why, in a local game, when I shoot, the aiming animation always crashes? I mean, when I aim and shoot, the aiming animation crashes. Is there a way to fix this or will it always be like this? It's just not very pleasant when you want to play with friends with this addon and it has this bug.

For the multiplayer lag, the solution I found was to add fire animations to the skins, so that when you shoot, the animations activate automatically. I did this in my mod called "George A. Romero Dead Mode," so the weapons no longer flicker. To create an ADS animations mod, simply change the origin in Blender 3D and position it where the weapon's crosshairs would be with the cursor.

I've encountered a rather peculiar problem. I don't know why, but there's a specific bug in The Parish with the rifle versions for the M16, specifically on the bridge when facing the tanks. I don't know why this is happening. Can anyone help me? What happens is that the music and some sound effects get corrupted, and the game suffers a drop in FPS.

Yeah, I swapped the two animations in a previous version to be consistent with the latest version of the plugin. I will definitely provide an option for that later. :)

I want to ask something. In the original plugin and in older versions of this addon, several ADS weapon mods such as the MWR M4A1 and the MW2019 ADS weapons had two equip animation sequences: one that played only when first acquiring the weapon (the deploy animation), and another that played when switching back to the weapon (the unholster animation). However, in the latest updates of this addon, both animations seem to play randomly for both acquiring and switching back to the weapon.

Is this due to the HolsterWeapon setting you added, or was it removed unintentionally? Either way, I’d like to request that this feature be restored, perhaps as a toggleable setting.

@(´・‿・`) With default settings, shooting with and without ADS doesn't make much difference in terms of firing spread. However, you can emulate the spread reduction during ADS by setting the SpreadReduce value in the settings.txt file to 1. This will give you the temporary laser sight when ADS. For further immersion, you can also set the HideLaserSight value to 2 to hide that temporary laser sight when ADS, but it won't affect the permanent laser sight you acquired.

I learned how to create in Blender 3D, it's very easy, there's a tutorial on the page. You can simply move the origin to the cursor in the ADS view and just save the animation with the new point origin.

One of the things I found to overcome the "lag" in the Flick client was to make the weapon animation for ADS shots always appear when firing, so it doesn't alternate, but you can still press the button to aim, but when firing both will have the ADS shot animation.

Thank you for the comments. But I don't believe simply suppressing changes to m_vecPunchAngle will resolve the high ping issue. Reports indicate that mod causes this problem just by altering eye angles.

afaik i dont think its possible to adjust the fov sg552 style without the viewmodel disappearing because of vscript limitations. hell i havent even found a plugin that does that. if you still want the sg552 zoom, take a look at kurochama's "Scope on All Guns" mod.
keep in mind that it will work against the features of this mod, you'll see what i mean if you try it

as for the gun request, you will need to ask the original creator to implement ads support, or ask someone else, or do it yourself. there is a tutorial in the discussions section. :steamhappy:

This mod is really good, but could you please add a lower FOV function, so it zooms while you are in ADS? It does that with the sg552 and I kinda like the effect.
