I had some free time, but i didn't wanted to play some video games,so I ended up making a map instead.

I had a goal that i must finish it.

It took me around 36 hours to complete but it would have been less without the pointless ******* around and deleting stuff.

I had some bigger plans for this map but the compile times were too long, aswell in the middle of the making maps i had ideas that din't fit it so it got me demotivaited

[]

total work time is around 36 hours in 2 and a half week

The thing is that it's not PTI editor (the one you enter to through "create test chambers")

it's hammer editor, it's another can of worms.

You can find it in portal 2's bin directory.

D:\Steam\steamapps\common\Portal 2\bin (depends where you steam is installed i could be on c drive)

It's not very beginner friendly but i think you can get the hang of it.

There is copule tutorials to it, tho many of them are really old.

If you really need help you can go and join "portal mapping and moding" or "thinking with portals" discord to get some live feedback on how things work

there is an updated version of it, which you can find it here

, but base one is also fine.
