The Matriarch is a brand new class mod for Darkest Dungeon with custom artwork, sounds, and animations! A weathered green dragon driven by maternal obsession, the Matriarch is a potent frontline blighter and healer with a propensity to poison her own teammates. But don't fret—mother knows what's best for you, after all.













The Matriarch has four unique camping skills, and comes with the usual shared camping skills in Encourage, Pep Talk, and Wound Care.









The Matriarch gains 100% blight resistance whilst on Death's Door, and will automatically cure any blights she has upon entering Death's Door. Outside of this, she suffers from the normal Death's Door penalties and mortality debuffs.

The Matriarch also automatically cures blight on herself on combat end, and her critical hit effect is a 2pt/1rd blight with 120% chance. Due to the way the game interacts with DoTs on crit, this is effectively a 140% base 2pt/2rd blight.

• You may only have 1 Matriarch in your party at any given time.
  
• The Matriarch is not religious.
  
• The Matriarch comes with a full set of regular, CC, and CoM trinkets, along with one universal trinket (isn't a head).
  
• The Matriarch uses the Outsider's Bonfire district.
  
• The Matriarch provides 2 antivenom as free provisions when starting a quest
  
• The Matriarch will refuse to gamble and cannot gain quirks related to it.
  
• The Matriarch has special dialogue with the Ringmaster and the Prefect.
  
• The Matriarch has unique duo team names with every single vanilla hero, and some modded heroes.
  
• Her canon name is Zathenna.
