Tomb's Player Body Overhaul - Compatibility

Description
Tomb's Player Body Overhaul - Clothing Compatibility [B41+B42]

To keep the main mod light on updates I'll be doing all clothing compatibility work within this submod. Some vanilla clothes are too lowpoly for adjustments to the bodies to eliminate the clipping, so I'll be updating the meshes for vanilla and modded clothes with versions that are built to fit. As a bonus, the reshaped clothing are a little more detailed than Vanilla, but I'll try not to alter the original vibe too much.

Initial B41 support has now been added!
Please report any bugs or issues to the pinned thread below, TY!

As with the body, this mod works by slipping new meshes in on game load to take priority over the meshes in the base game, this also works for mods. This is the least invasive way I can think of doing this requiring the least amount of XML data maintenance. What this means is...
  • The mod must be enabled on the main menu mods screen and also in the save file if you're adding this to an existing save.
  • The mod must be below any other clothing mod that it's intended to affect.
  • The game MUST be restarted after installing the mod in order to take effect.

If you activate a clothing mod that references the files replaced by this mod, even if it goes above this mod in the load order, you'll need to restart again in order for these models to take precedence. They only load when the game itself does because they have no associated XML files. If these instructions are not followed the models won't apply.

Currently supported clothing/mods:
  • Vanilla pants and any mod that references the Vanilla pants models
Plus custom modelled / edited items to remove clipping with:

All credit for any models that are repurposed/reused/adjusted for this compatibility patch goes to their respective original owners, listed above.

Safe to add to existing saves, but always be sure to make backups before adding new mods to existing runs!

Most items will simply just be swapped out to use these custom made compatible versions. Out of respect i'll only be editing meshes that are specifically listed as edit friendly or those I have explicit permission to adjust. Be sure to support the original creators!

I don't typically have lots of time to play so I'll mostly be relying on community feedback to weed out problems. If you see something clipping, floating, or stuff that just looks ugly, please make a note of the mod/garment/gender and drop a note in the pinned thread TY!

@Kuda White- Had a peek, I think you may just be experiencing a load order issue? Make sure the compatibility patch is loaded after frockin' and you should be good (i'd just throw it right at the bottom tbh). Doing this in my testing I couldn't find any clipping with the current version, the meshes I thought I'd missed must never get referenced and I just forgot.

The boots masking thing is something i've been chasing around for a while, yeah. I'm on the verge of just disabling masks on the shoes completely tbh. Thx for the screenshot, helps a lot!

So I've discovered the skirt also causes boots to go inverted face, around ankle and above. So the boots appear missing portion of it. I'm using Boots Expanded 11 for B41 and B42. Here the picture https://imgur.com/a/rfyN0DH

But again, not sure if this has anything with your mod, so just treat it as an extra info and I go report to Frockin Splendor author instead.

Regarding skirt waist issue, that specific skirt is called Cotton Pleated Skirt, so its not just checkered pattern skirt only.

@Kuda White - Ah I have the mid skirts fixed but forgot to include them in the last update whoops, good catch. Are those miniskirts from frockin' or regular game? Regular mini should be fixed unless I messed up the skinning

some mini skirt, which clipping around butt cheeks area.

@Kuda White Yeah I use frockin so I did a pass over it, most of it is just body texture clothing but I thought i'd caught all the problematic skirts, i'll take another look soon thx for the heads up

Do you plan to add support for Frockin Splendor ? Although it got a lot of parts, volume 1 - 5.

Pair of quick updates:

v1.1.1
- Fixed an issue where an empty line in the XML files for Lumberjack and Docs boots was causing improper alpha calculation.

v1.1.2
- B41 Vanilla+ : Edited the Female tight pants mesh to remove a little skinning bleed from the opposite leg, causing leg clipping to occur during certain animations.

- B42 Boots Expanded: Copied over a couple more shoe XML files with mask folder edits to hopefully stop certain shoes disappearing entirely when worn with specific pants.
