Tomb's Player Body Overhaul - Compatibility

Are shirts supposed to cling to the player body like another layer of skin? It looks they've been vacuum sealed against the body.

@Nelson - If you mean without boots expanded, then yea the vanilla "shoes" end up looking like socks on my body because they're just spray on textures. The feet were designed normal size to pair with boots expanded or other mods that add 3d shoes and i'd highly recommend grabbing one regardless of whether you use my body mod or not because vanilla shoes are garbage (sorry TIS).
Nelson Aug 6 @ 11:47pm
shoes looks like socks, i dont recommend

Thanks!

@Reanimator + @Zilla - Pants being changed to the skintight appearance is likely coming from another mod as this mod isn't set up to change the default style, only replace models with non-clipping ones. With this mod loaded alone almost all the pants will default to the wide, untucked 3D pants. If you have them being replaced with the painted on skin tight look its most likely Boots Expanded, if it's the slim tucked 3D pants it'll likely be Spongie's Open Jackets.

+All mens extremely skinny versions for males
Reanimator Aug 2 @ 4:52am
is it normal that all pants and jeans become extremely skinny versions for males

v1.1.5

- Removed masking from all compatibility meshes affecting Boots Expanded shoes in B42 to prevent issues with Jackets and other items improperly masking half the long shoe styles. This is a half measure and may introduce clipping in some edge cases, but when paired with the compatibility patch there should be minimal trouser clipping anyway.
AurorA Jul 25 @ 7:21am
@ jaquerossetto i have to say yeah, more shoes is really good mod about shoes pack ive ever seen. but it's unfair to Tomb. work to each shoe needs model adjustments sounds it would take a lot time. Unfortunately, I know absolutely nothing about model work. the onlything i can do is some simple translation work. hope some day Tomb will have the time or he can find someone to help t add compatibility to More Shoes.:sleepyjill: and ever since I found your mod, it's been the best body adjustment mod I've ever seen Tomb, good job and hope you will keep the passion:steamthumbsup:

Update v1.1.4

- Added initial support for Lillies enhanced militaria - replaced bloused pants with regular tucked pants from this mod. Not strictly the same style of tucked pants but does at least prevent the clipping issues for now.
Tomb  [author] Jul 24 @ 11:08am
@MrButterHoles - Oh does that one have issues? I can take a look, would probably be as easy as just duplicating the regular tucked pants mesh i made and renaming it to catch lillie's on load
MrButterHoles Jul 23 @ 7:56pm
Any chance for lillies enhanced militaria especially the tucked pants?
jaquerossetto Jul 23 @ 11:06am
Ouch that seems like a huuuge job, besides the replacer there is a lot of new additions as well. I thought it would be easier than that, but its fine! Thank you anyway :)
Tomb  [author] Jul 23 @ 10:36am
@jaquerossetto - As noted by nalmac on their recent post on that mod, they just realised the licencing on the original mod is no modify/ no share etc, making a compat patch unlikely. It's not 100% out of the question, but all the shoes would need to be made from scratch kinda like how i did with boots expanded compat. Possible? Yes. Labor intensive? Very.

If you want to commission it privately tho, the official PZ discord would be the best place to ask.
jaquerossetto Jul 23 @ 10:17am
Heyyy, I dunno if you would be interested, but I recently got this mod on my game
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3528649608
And of all the shoe replacers I have tried I think its the best one, but there is a bit of clipping on the legs with some boots and the angle on all shoes is a bit off like its tiptoeing. Would a patch be possible? If it's not allowed or you are not interested could you please point me in the right direction to try to get this fixed on my own game?

Update v1.1.3:

- Compatibility for HECU added!
- Compatibility for Frockin Splendor new update skirts added
shxgun ett Jul 22 @ 2:48pm
@Tomb gonna check out mod manager right now thanks. never heard of it, seems like common knowledge, but not common enough to me ig
Tomb  [author] Jul 22 @ 2:07pm
@shxgun ett if you're not running mod manager i highly recommend it, in the mod menu at the bottom right you can enter the load order. its similar but not quite the same as b42. there may be other ways but that's how i do it
shxgun ett Jul 22 @ 1:44pm
i have a question. how do you change mod load order in b41? i tried to install spongie's char customization first, body remodel 2nd and goth body 3rd, but no matter the order, the goth mod always stays ontop of the body mod in the mods order
Tomb  [author] Jul 21 @ 4:57pm
@Kuda White- Had a peek, I think you may just be experiencing a load order issue? Make sure the compatibility patch is loaded after frockin' and you should be good (i'd just throw it right at the bottom tbh). Doing this in my testing I couldn't find any clipping with the current version, the meshes I thought I'd missed must never get referenced and I just forgot.

The boots masking thing is something i've been chasing around for a while, yeah. I'm on the verge of just disabling masks on the shoes completely tbh. Thx for the screenshot, helps a lot!
Kuda White Jul 21 @ 4:48pm
So I've discovered the skirt also causes boots to go inverted face, around ankle and above. So the boots appear missing portion of it. I'm using Boots Expanded 11 for B41 and B42. Here the picture https://imgur.com/a/rfyN0DH

But again, not sure if this has anything with your mod, so just treat it as an extra info and I go report to Frockin Splendor author instead.

Regarding skirt waist issue, that specific skirt is called Cotton Pleated Skirt, so its not just checkered pattern skirt only.
Tomb  [author] Jul 21 @ 4:09pm
@Kuda White - I'll peep it ty
Kuda White Jul 21 @ 3:47pm
Miniskirt from Frockin
Tomb  [author] Jul 21 @ 10:51am
@Kuda White - Ah I have the mid skirts fixed but forgot to include them in the last update whoops, good catch. Are those miniskirts from frockin' or regular game? Regular mini should be fixed unless I messed up the skinning
Kuda White Jul 21 @ 9:11am
I'm using Frockin Splendor vol 2 only atm and ive noticed :
skirt with checkered pattern
some mini skirt, which clipping around butt cheeks area.
Tomb  [author] Jul 21 @ 8:47am
@Kuda White Yeah I use frockin so I did a pass over it, most of it is just body texture clothing but I thought i'd caught all the problematic skirts, i'll take another look soon thx for the heads up
Kuda White Jul 20 @ 10:38pm
on 2nd thought, mostly skirt waist is big issue
Kuda White Jul 20 @ 10:30pm
Do you plan to add support for Frockin Splendor ? Although it got a lot of parts, volume 1 - 5.
Tomb  [author] Jul 6 @ 9:51am
Pair of quick updates:

v1.1.1
- Fixed an issue where an empty line in the XML files for Lumberjack and Docs boots was causing improper alpha calculation.

v1.1.2
- B41 Vanilla+ : Edited the Female tight pants mesh to remove a little skinning bleed from the opposite leg, causing leg clipping to occur during certain animations.

- B42 Boots Expanded: Copied over a couple more shoe XML files with mask folder edits to hopefully stop certain shoes disappearing entirely when worn with specific pants.
Tomb  [author] Jul 6 @ 9:21am
@Vitriol ☧ - If you can spare a mo, hop over into the bugs thread and take a peek, i'll post a screenshot as i'm investigating it atm but i don't see it unfortunately
Vitriol ☧ Jul 6 @ 9:19am
@Tomb always noticible. mostly in the back of the thigs and the shins. i appreciate the help!
Tomb  [author] Jul 6 @ 9:09am
@Vitriol ☧ - Cool i'll take a look TY, sounds like the tight pants may be too tight. I'm not seeing it in maya but it could display differently in game. Any particular action you were taking to make it manifest or is it just always noticeable?
Vitriol ☧ Jul 6 @ 9:05am
@Tomb it is b42 male, also i noticed i was using the camo pants tucked inside western boots as i use spongie's mod. if u untuck it looks fine,
Tomb  [author] Jul 6 @ 9:01am
@Vitriol ☧ - Is this B41/B42 Male or Female? I think I may see it, B41 female tight pants had some influence from the opposite leg bleeding over that was causing clipping as she moved, I've fixed and will push that. Let me know if that fixes what you were noticing.
Vitriol ☧ Jul 5 @ 9:27pm
i noticed some clipping when wearing the vanilla green camo pants. not sure why but i can see my legs. also no i dont have holes in my pants
Tomb  [author] Jul 5 @ 2:35pm
Due to high demand- Update: v1.1.0

- Added initial support for B41.
- Added initial Boots expanded B41 compatibilty. Note that this is currently limited to the meshes that are also present in B42. A lot of the shoes in B41 are exclusive to that version and as such do not have an appropriate replacement mesh in place at this time.

Please report any B41 errors or issues to the pinned thread TY!

- Fixed erroneous smoothing groups near the ankle of female pants meshes
- Added slightly more room in the ankle for larger shoe sizes to accomodate for an upcoming clothing mod.
Tomb  [author] Jul 5 @ 2:34pm
@Sabrina Carpenter - I will be taking a look at both Bianca and Clothesbox when I get time, yes.
Sabrina Carpenter Jun 28 @ 12:47am
did you plan to make it compatible with Bianca / ClothesBox Redux?
Tomb  [author] Jun 23 @ 10:20am
@CountToSeven You still need to activate it like any other mod. It's only for b42 users so if you're on b41 it won't show.
CountToSeven Jun 21 @ 12:50pm
stupid question, but is the compatibility mod already active when subscribed? bc i cant find it in my load order to turn it on myself
Tomb  [author] Jun 19 @ 6:39am
@Idiotic IQ - All the more reason to bite the bullet

@Lou - I'll take a peek
Idiotic IQ Jun 18 @ 9:14pm
Bro made the body B41 and B42 but this only B42:steamhappy:
Lou Jun 18 @ 2:32pm
If you get time could you patch for ClothingboxRedux? The Running shorts is one i noticed but probably has a few clipping in the mod.
Tomb  [author] Jun 17 @ 1:01am
Updated with compatibility for KATTAJ1 Clothes Core - Male Balaclavas. No more nose and neck clipping. Also pushed a small tweak to female untucked pants to make more room in the rear for high heeled designs, for an upcoming mod.
Hans-Landa Jun 16 @ 12:00am
Thank you for the reply!
Tomb  [author] Jun 15 @ 11:55pm
@Hans-Landa - Peter is working on a compatibility patch for his mod, it's in the works.
Hans-Landa Jun 15 @ 11:49pm
Thanks for the patch for boots expanded, tho for some reason i can't come to terms with the designs, any chance for a patch that works with Peter's Vanilla Shoe Overhaul?
Tomb  [author] Jun 13 @ 3:32am
Boots expanded put out an update and in my immediate testing the changes here don't break anything. I'll do a deeper look later to make sure nothing im doing is overwriting new stuff that's been added, any new texture variants etc. There's a few new shoes that are referencing new models which i'll get around to updating once i have a little more time.
Tomb  [author] Jun 12 @ 12:33pm
@Becerra9 - Glad you're enjoying them! I've got some of my own shoes in the works that should be heading this way sometime soon hopefully, time permitting.

@вся его кровь мне - This is likely a masking issue stemming from boots expanded/brita incompatibility and not strictly related to this body as the uv's are shared with vanilla and the masks are based on that, so i'd expect it to behave the same as vanilla. Once Britas reaches B42 i can take a look for sure.

@Crashdown- glad you're digging em!
