EF Crimson Cyclone

Description
SP mission using the new Expeditionary Forces CDLC.

Hunt for AAF rocket artillery trucks on the eve of the Marine's amphibious landing on the west coast of Altis. This mission uses the new NLOS missiles (like in the campaign), and is fully voice acted (AI generated). Mission play time is 45-60 minutes. This mission starts with needing to move to an overwatch position undetected, but the mission will get spicy once you destroy the rocket artillery trucks.  


Situation

In support of Operation Resolute Cyclone, we have been tasked with eliminating two mobile rocket launcher trucks. The trucks have been tracked to an airfield the AAF operate in north west. We need to be sure these high threat weapons are destroyed. You will need to covertly move to the airfield, locate the mobile launcher trucks, and then call in a precision strike on the trucks. Lase the targets, and call in the NLOS missile strikes on the targets.

Good job! The script at the start of the mission is really cool and help to the immersion. I didn't found that the distance was too long during the stealth part. And it forces the player to consider his path carrefully.
So it's a great mission! Liked it!

Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed it.

I agree with you on the distance to the target. If I had it to do again, I would of had the distance to target be no more than 1.5 km. When I started making this mission, I wasn't planning on releasing it on the workshop, so I wasn't worried about a it being a little over 2km to the target.

My only critique is the distance of the objectives you need to travel on foot while mandatory stealth.

Stealth part is no issue, just the objective is really far to run on foot to.

Pretty sick mission. From unpacking the box to the boat, to actually lasing the targets for a missile strike. Man, you cooked.

Thanks, I wasn't sure if people would like a mission that requires some stealth gameplay like I have in the first part of this mission.

I do like to add little immersive things to my missions like in the beginning of this one with the boat.
