Extra Leader Traits

Description
The traits in the images may not be up-to-date. Always refer to the changelog if the images have been adjusted recently. A discussion thread with all traits can be found here


One of the things that has always confused me is why basic resource focuses were only available for commander governors. This resulted in me wanting to create this mod!

Extra Leader Traits

Basic resource focus for officials

This mod adds focus traits for all three basic resources, specifially for official type leaders!

Extended Focus traits

Additionally, this mod adds some new focus traits to commissioners and analysts to make more varying planets.

Capital Focus Traits

Ever wondered what focus to put on your Capital? Thought your capital should have its own focus? Now you can! Adds a focus for most (vanilla) capital designations.

Destiny traits

Adds Destiny traits for most subclasses, with more to come!

Councilor traits

Adds 13 new councilor traits! More will come in the future if I remember.

Ascension traits!

89 Total new traits for each ascension path, with at least 13 traits for each Ascension Path:
- Virtual: 20 new traits
- Modular: 14 new traits
- Nanomachines: 13 new traits
- Cybernetic: 14 new traits
- Psionic: 14 new traits
- Genetic: 15 new traits
(Synthetic gets access to Modular or Virtual traits dependent on end of situations!)

Unique icon background and animations for each of them!

Additional content:

With Gigastructural Engineering: Supertensile focus trait
With Ancient Cache of Technology: DM & DE focus trait



Compatibility

All traits are new traits. It should be compatible with most mods.
If Machine & Robot Explansion Continued is also used, then the Virtual and Nanomachines Leader revive trait will be disabled.


Overwritten triggers

This mod overwrites these triggers. Any other mod that also does this may not interact well with this.
has_any_governor_focus & has_scientist_focus

This is my first modding experience, so issues are likely to happen. Please let me know if you spot any.

@MaxiundMicky Thanks for the quick answer - your mod does something lacking in all the other 4.0 leader mods I have checked out regarding focus...I have had way too many governors and scientists with "Councillor" stuff etc. :steamfacepalm:

@elvathelion Yes, the Paragons DLC is a requirement for the traits to work.

Is the Paragons DLC a "hard requirement" ? The mod shows up fine in my launcher no warnings.

Not sure if it’s intentional for the SINGLE effect but the Hive Genetic Destiny Trait for Industrialist Officials, “Accelerated Drone Spawning”, only gives +10%/5% Upkeep for Spawning Drones. From the sound of the name and description though, it sounds like it should also have a Spawning Drone efficiency or increased organic pop growth?

I have added an event that, if you play a Gestalt empire, will trigger once one of your leaders reaches level 8 (I think, or 7.. whatever the destiny level is, i dont have a memory). It will automatically give your leader the ascension path trait for their subclass, as there is only one ascension trait per subsclass for each ascension path.

Tl;dr
Gestalt leader level 8 -> Event pop up -> Get ascension destiny trait

Just to check, that issue with the hives not getting traits, has that been sorted? I notice the exclaimation about it was removed from description but I just wanted to double check for the hive gene leader traits.

By the way the modularity trait that gives you more trait picks/points for officials is broken it has ROBO instead of MACHINE at the start of the line.
