Description
NOTE: its a simple faction mod. Do not expect fancy mechanics from me.

What to expect
Really tough tank bug class - Brood Commander, Tank, Behemoth and Impaler (can't do the tentacle grape, so its somewhat a Tank bug atm)
Medium class bugs that rage when they reach a certain lethal damage threshold - Warriors, Elites
Jumping bugs - Stalker, Vanguard
Annoying Shrimp - Scout

NOTE: The heavy class bugs reduced damage from HEAT rockets because they share the same damage def as bullets which I made them resistant towards to. They also take 10x damage from blast, thermobaric and superbomb (anti-grain).
I need feedback to whether keep that bullet resistance or not.

Also this is a simple faction mod, Don't expect fancy C# from me. Fancy faction mechanics to seem to be the norm nowadays

NO PLANNED COMPATIBILITY WITH VFE:INSECTOIDS 2. THE WHOLE GENELINE THING IS JUST FOR RIMWORLD LORE INTEGRATION.

Rimworld's insectoids are from Sorne, hence why theyre called Sorne geneline. These bugs come from Kepler Prime thats why theyre called Kepler Geneline.

@Rampager - The heavy-class bugs armor max armor is quite misleading lol
the listed armor on their stat card is highest armor, which is their legs, the main body has half of the actual values.
Its meant to be a faction that gives you at least a year to prepare. They're meant to swarm colonies. Theyre supposed to be easily kiteable but I could reduce their movespeed a bit if theyre too fast.
@amefurashi - Character Editor? Yes. Combat Extended? No, I made it with Combat Extended in mind

amazing mod and overall amazing work on the introduction of helldivers content to Rimworld, the only issue i find is that the heavy armour on the bugs seems to be way too strong. It's up to you but i feel like its severely disbalanced right now and bugs will probably roll over almost all colonies like a truck.

Unless that's your intention of course heh

one day, in the midgame, my settlement was attacked by terminids. I was happy because after adding the mod, for some reason the BUGS did not appear either on the global map or in raids. (I thought that something went wrong when adding the mod). I placed the pawns in positions and waited for a good battle! and after the bugs got to the killbox, I realized that I was absolutely not ready to meet them. tanks and are really very strong, a group of 14 colonists with fairly good weapons and turrets (with anti-tank ammunition), I destroyed only two, the rest went through the settlement like a skating rink. the settlement is destroyed! the mod is really cool! I haven’t felt such excitement and challenge for a long time (vanilla beetles are boring) :steamthumbsup:thanks to the author for his work! (I note that during the raid I also had the VFE:INSECTOIDS 2 mod installed, perhaps because of this the faction was not displayed)

None atm... as Im planning on basing the Cyborg faction on this mod
Same goes for the kepler bugs... Would need feedback on how they feel in-game for others. I can also consider suggestions if theyre not that hard to implement.
