40k Ork Contraptions

For a long time I've felt that the orks in 40k Arma have been criminally underrepresented in their ground vehicles, with only a lowly trukk and a heavy hitter Stompa available. WebKnight’s Imperial knights adds some looted Knights, but there are still may gaps to plug. There are some modders that have added custom ork vics, but these are semi-one off compositions. This mod aims to help remediate this with a selection of ork contraptions that are designed to be spawned either in the editor or in zeus on the fly as many times as needed. Firstly, there is an offering of looted vehicles from the imperium realm. These repurposed vehicles have gotten the orkish treatment, which usually involves strapping / welding / bolting on a whatever big guns the orks have. Also more red paint. A brief list:

The Ork Sub can dive, the driver and the gunners all have rebreathers.
The BattaShip comes with Dual VLS launchers and that Zeus' can use Sci-fi Support Plus or other such mods to launch Cruise Missiles.
The larger Ork boats can be sunk by destroying their main kannon turrets.

Do not expect:

Walkable Surfaces on the boats
Proper collision on the boats
AI not to be dumb on occasion.


Bolted on turrets will energetically detach from their host vehicle when it is destroyed.
Deletion of the host vehicle will also delete any attached objects (turrets or add-on armor).

Future plans: While I don’t have the skills to create brand new ork rides such as a proper battlewagon, there will be further abominations of the attachTo function. Companion mods that will make use of other 40k mods other than TIOW are planned.

Disclaimer: Jank ahead. Expect some weirdness. I have done some things like config-foolery to wedge the orks into the rhino chassis. Also with the attachTo function, attached vehicles will not rotate their tires / treads. it is what it is.

Usage: Use as you like. Include in your unit's mod pack. Tear it apart and make some cool derivative stuff. This mod wouldn't be possible without the untold hours poured into the original and continued TIOW mods by those modders. They deserve any and all praise.
