Renewable Mechtech

Description
Renewable Mechtech is all about allowing your mechanitors to produce their own mechtech supplies.

NOTE: The following only applies to 1.5. Recipes have changed for 1.6; check the update notes.
Three new research projects are added: Standard mechchips, high mechchips, and ultra mechchips. Each project must have their mechtech tier researched first, as well as Machining, Fabrication, and Advanced Fabrication, respectively.

Mechchips require some time to craft; signal chips take 15000 ticks to craft, powerfocus chips 20000, and nanostructuring chips 25000.

If you have VFE - Mechanoids installed, the ability to produce subcores is available. A new resource, subcore printmolds, can be produced by versatile assemblers and act as shells for subcores. Advanced assemblers can use printmolds and other materials to produce higher tier subcores.

Additionally, if you have VRE - Android installed as well, advanced assemblers can produce persona subcores.

Good catch, turns out I forgot that MayRequire is case sensitive. Patch releasing soon.

this mod breaks the VFE mechanoids advanced assembler unless i have VRE androids installed also

No, it only includes the base Biotech chips.

This is pretty good. I probably won't use it though since raiders appear to manifest fully formed out of some sort of aether hellscape, but I do like the mod. :steamthumbsup:
