Description
This is an updated and continued version of Blood and Whales.All credit goes to Kepi who developed and created the mod, I just updated it.If you encounter any bugs or glitches let me know in the comments and i'll try to fix them.

Original Description:
Haida are an Indigenous group who have traditionally occupied Haida Gwaii, an archipelago just off the coast of Old Columbia, for almost 13000 years. This little nation on the edge of known world needed some love, so I have decided to give them (maybe a little too much) love.

Features
- Unique, handmade icons for focuses and ideas
- Focus tree with 52 focuses, which last for over 6 years
- A lot of decisions (whaling included!)
- Bunch of ideas, two idea-merger focuses for nice and clean country view
- Handful of advisors
- Ability to claim the legacy of an Old World nation, or create a new one. (Maple syrup and Mounties not included... yet). Doing so will give you a new leader too.
- Multitude of events
- [CLASSIFIED]: general with an unique trait and ability (WtT needed for the ability)

Questions I asked myself
Q: Is my mod lore friendly?
A: Maybe

Q: Does it take itself seriously?
A: No

Q: Is it fun?
A: I had fun playing it, so probably yes

Q: Is it balanced?
A: Early and mid game is a bit of a struggle, but in late game you will be really OP, just like in vanilla OWB

Small disclaimer
It's my first mod and I put everything I think is cool in it. Next one I make will be more lore-sensitive.

Liberty Prime didn't appear.

On the balance side, four research slots is more than other equivalent nations get. Three or maybe even two is more usual, and wouldn't cripple you due to how little technology access you have.

Speaking of, a little more technology access earlier on would prevent what happened to me: having nothing to research for most of the game. Dredgers giving intermediate robotics and Broken Coast giving intermediate infantry equipment are the obvious possibilities. Also, being able to made APA while not understanding anything about power armour construction is a little odd. You wouldn't be able to spam APA due to lack of resources, so it wouldn't be a problem if you could at least research basic power armour earier.

I found the pacing generally quite good as the Koover/Sylix/Passkeepers alliance made a good end boss, but I only got access to the more advanced technology afterwards when there was nothing to do.

The Kind Tribe doesn't bypass if you already control all of the Sylix Nation's territory.

Its incompatible with any other submod that adds countries or changes country colors.

Huh. Okay, that time the War Chief appeared. The only thing I did different was not research special forces equipment first. Is the War Chief appearing dependant on the focus giving you special forces equipment?

I tested with all dlc and it worked. Also I changed all characters into real characters so it should work with or without dlc.

I think that fishermen factories are ok, because haida is severly underdeveloped at the game's start. Also, the chiefs name is Kya'áang his name has an important meaning. He loves canadians tho. Do you have all of the DLC? Those leaders were originally made without that DLC which changed how war staff works, maybe that's why they are not appearing.
