Setup:
- Remove any 343 added armour pieces from your Spartan player if your game is crashing.
- Setting your visor colour to the default setting will make sure your character has the intended uniform colour and to avoid any possible crashing.
- Remember to create a custom firefight gamemode in the lobby options and disable Spartan shields to disable the shield beeping noise. Save your custom gamemode for easy future use.
- Use only the "evade" equipment in player loadouts. All other equipment will not function correctly
- Recommend health regeneration to be turned ON
- This mod is optimised on Legendary difficulty only. All other difficulties may have lacklustre or outright broken AI.
- Weapon zooming will not work if your 3rd Person FOV is too high. Try playing around 80-90 or adjust until it works - screen resolution can effect what setting is needed.
-Use the night vision/flashlight key binding to switch your camera to left-right shoulder view.

Features:
- Weapon handling similar to classic Ghost Recon games where stance, movement, looking around all affect accuracy
- Dynamic difficulty progression - higher tier versions of enemies as the rounds progress.
- New, custom maps based on locations from the campaign. Fight against Covenant AND Insurrectionists
- Realistic bullet drop, noticable on large, long range maps like Valley
- New Weapons, new sounds, new voices for AI and Player
- Re-balanced weapons and improved AI for hardcore experience in mind
- Third Person Perspective
- AI Squadmates that accompany the player
- New FX such as being suppressed by Covenant fire.
- Extra cover placed on maps to compliment the new gameplay style
- Ability to switch your camera view from right to left shoulder with the flashlight key bind.

Tips:
- Turn Toggle Crouch ON to make taking cover easier
- Crouch to improve accuracy
- Evade/dive out of the way of danger
- Utilise cover frequently
- Right click to use zoom/precision aiming
- Use the nightvision/flashlight bind to switch camera shoulders when going around corners on your left
- Don't underestimate the bare bones UNSC weapons like the assault rifle and DMR - they're quite useful
- The shotgun can be used at far ranges realistically, but it does lose damage as the distance increases.
- Bind flashlight/night vision key to something easily accessible like middle mouse to quickly change shoulder camera when needed fast
- All Firefight voice options have been replaced with voices from the mod. Some are duplicates, but most will be unique.
- The semi auto grenade launcher must be loaded one round at a time by pressing R for each round.
- Try to engage Elites at farther ranges. They are extremely dangerous in close combat.
- The MA2B (short barrelled carbine) can penetrate enemy helmets, useful for easy headshots

Custom weapon list:
-M247 General Purpose Machine Gun (Fast firing, caliber 7.62x51mm, can overheat)
-M73 machine gun (Slower firing, caliber 9.5x60mm, doesn't overheat)
-MA37 3 round burst, with underbarrel grenade launcher
-MA37 with optic and suppressor
-MA37 3 round burst/semi auto with foregrip and optic
-MA37 HBAR with thermal optic
-M7 SMG, suppressed and unsuppressed
-M6 PDW (Pistol with extended mag, stock, and full auto)
-XM510 grenade launcher (7 round semi auto grenade launcher)
-MA2B (Short carbine, firing 10mm AP rifle round)
-MA5B
-MA5C
-BR55
-BR55 HBAR
-BR55 PARA (chambered in pistol round)
-M6C/SOCOM
-SRS-99 suppressed (Silenced sniper rifle)
-RPG with homing missile
-Semiauto 12 gauge shotgun (Smaller caliber than standard shotgun)
-M90 CAWS shotgun with suppressor, red dot. Loaded with armour piercing slugs.
-M392 Kurz (DMR with short barrel, laser sight, 30 round magazine, full auto)
-M392 DMR in LMG configuration (drum mag and bipod)
-M392 DMR with suppressor and ironsights
-Single shot disposable RPG with anti-tank HEAT round

Playing on Legendary difficulty is recommended. Legendary in this mod allows for dynamic difficulty progression different tiers of enemies as the rounds progress. Playing on lower difficulties will have more vanilla Reach enemy types and less weapon loadouts for the enemy as well as some balancing issues - if the mod is too hard you can increase your health/damage in the Firefight lobby settings instead while still selecting Legendary difficulty.

Did the new update cause your guys’ trooper firefight maps to vanish too??

Yes.

Any possible way to fix it?
Naloma Sep 19 @ 12:09pm
Oh I see lol

Yeah all of the custom maps are missing the proper scripting to use the lobby settings for lives. It defaults to 50 or 100 I believe. It is possible to run out of lives on those maps it just takes a lot.

How do you lose? like I have unlimited lives no matter how much I adjust the settings.

If you don't mind me giving some critique, is there anything you can do to make the Park map a bit more challenging? The long sight lines and the sheer amount of allies and MGs you have on your end of the map makes it so that most enemy waves bar the really tough guys just get sniped close to their own spawn. Perhaps some alternate routes for the AI to take so they can flank you more often?
