Trooper Firefight 2024 | 1st Person Tactical

Description
1st Person demo of Trooper Firefight 2024. More maps and content will come eventually.

This version of the mod is more slower paced and features a different weapon sandbox than regular Trooper Firefight 2024.
I recommend turning off "hazards" and wave spawning in dropships in the firefight options to make the scenario less chaotic and slower paced.

Read the "setup" to properly configure settings and custom firefight gamemode.

There is currently only one map: Unearthed



Features:
- Weapon handling similar to classic Ghost Recon games where stance, movement, looking around all affect accuracy
- Realistic weapon ballistics and bullet drop
- Ironsights and optics for weapons when aiming down sights.
- New Weapons, new sounds, new voices for AI and Player
- Re-balanced weapons and improved AI for hardcore experience in mind
- AI Squadmates that accompany the player
- New FX such as being suppressed by Covenant fire.
- Extra cover placed on maps to compliment the new gameplay style


Setup:
- Remove any 343 added armour pieces from your Spartan player if your game is crashing.
- Setting your visor colour to the default setting will make sure your character has the intended uniform colour and to avoid any possible crashing.
- Remember to create a custom firefight gamemode in the lobby options and disable Spartan shields to disable the shield beeping noise. Save your custom gamemode for easy future use.
- Sprint and evade are the only loadout equipments that are fully compatible.
- Recommend health regeneration to be turned ON
- This mod is best played on Legendary difficulty.



There's no viewmodels just like in classic Ghost Recon. It's intentional.

@solid snake Nah man, what's retarded is being a douche bag to a content creator because you can't read the description.

When I first play tested the mod with him, I asked him about viewmodels too because I didn't know it was a stylistic choice. When he explained to me why he didn't do it, I didn't act all entitled like you just did. I just enjoyed the mod for what it is, which is a homage to the original Ghost Recon game.

Because that's weeks and weeks of work for a side project I don't care that much about.

Playing OG Ghost Recon is what inspired this version of the mod so I just replicated that as much as possible, including no viewmodels.

Dude I cannot thank you enough for this. This mod is fucking revolutionary. The way you made the supression mechanic is fucking beautiful. Was it hard to make? Could you port it somehow to the Campaign? Could you even port it to ODST? That game SHOULD HAVE been like this. It's so damn fun. I don't even like Firefight! And I'm playing it! GJ King

There's no problem with having both mods installed - they use separate folders/files.
The other maps will hopefully come eventually - this version of the mod is lower priority. It's also very tedious to switch over to working on this mod due to how the Halo tools work.

My Goat ! Thank you I hate to ask but do you plan on porting the maps that are 3p in the fp version? and if i have them both downloaded will that cause issues or will you be able to make it where i can play both?
