This collection includes all in service rolling stock types operated by Keihan Electric Railway.

Keihan Electric Railway is a major private railway in the Kansai region of Japan. It is the core business of the Keihan Group, which is a publicly traded company listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange. The network is composed of eight lines, with a total track length of 91.1km. The Keihan Main Line between Yodoyabashi Station in Osaka and Sanjō Station in Kyoto functions as the core of the network, with the Katano and Uji lines branching off to serve smaller cities on route. The two station Ōtō Line is a underground link to Eizan Electric Railway and functions as a de facto extention of the Keihan Main Line. Keihan also operates a tram system in Otsu, Shiga prefecture, with two lines. Geographically separated from the rest of the network, they were purchased by Keihan in 1926 and operated since. The final line is a funicular railway in Kyoto for accessing the Iwashimizu Shrine. The history of the company dates back to the opening of the line connecting Osaka and Kyoto in 1910. It was once the dominant private railway in the region, having also constructed the now competing Hankyu Kyoto Line. During World War II the Japanese government forced Keihan to merge with Hanshin Electric Railway. Although the companies split in the post war period, Keihan's rail assets west of the Yodo River separated and became Hankyu Railway, which is the predecessor of the modern Hankyu Hanshin Holdings after a merger in 2006. Currently, the Keihan group also owns Eizan Electric Railway, and has Kyoto Randen as an afflliated company. Like other Japanese railway companies, Keihan is extensively involved in the real estate, retail, and hospitality sectors, with it's transportation division only making up around a quarter of total revenue, while real estate came in at almost 50% (FY2023 results). Daily ridership across all lines were around 830,000 pre pandemic.

All my workshop mods feature:

-Dedicated models
-Accurate specifications*
-Multiple formations**
-Easily ported to any part of the world

Crush capacity is used for all trains that allow standing passengers, as the design capacity of trains published by companies in Japan do not reflect actual operating conditions and are not suited for gameplay purposes. Capacity will be calculated using the following method, taking into account the seating layout and role of the train:

Urban Trains:
Long: 200% (175% for vehicles below 2.5m in width)
Semi-cross: 175%
Cross: 150%

Regional Trains & All Trams:
Long: 175% standing
Semi-cross: 175% standing
Cross: 150% standing

*Some data may be estimates if the accurate value could not be found despite thorough research, these typically includes situations such as non-distinction between normal and emergency deceleration values, or when the empty mass of a formation is given but not for individual cars.
**For types with only 1 real-world operational formation, realistic hypothetical formations are included.

Any feedback/suggestions/requests are welcome, you can reach me on the game's official discord, or just leave a comment on the mod in question.
