The Return of the Tsar is a mod that replaces Tsar Vladimir III of Russia in No Step Back with his predecessor to the Russian Throne, Nicholas II of the House of Romanov.

This mod does several things:
-Replaces Vladimir III's name and portrait with that of Nicholas II.
-Replaces the Russian Empire flag to that of what the Empire would've had if it survived WW1 (tricolor with coat of arms).
-Changes non-aligned Russia's name to "Russian Empire" and fascist Russia's name to "Russian State"
-Changes the text in events to accommodate the replacement of Vladimir III with Nicholas II.
