Victor's Combat Mod for DEI.pack

TO MAKE THE MOD WORK PROPERLY, PUT IT BEFORE THE DEI MOD PACKS (AND DEI SUBMODS) IN THE LOADING ORDER OF THE ROME 2 LAUNCHER. (see in the pictures above).

PURPOSE OF THE MOD: incentivise the player to use the "defensive formation" for bracing agains cavalry charges and the base stance to fight enemy infantry.


In order to do this, the mod makes the sword troops stronger vs infantry when out of the defensive formation by adding them a bonus vs infantry, while makes the defensive formation stronger vs cavalry (but weaker vs infantry) and improves its frontal defensive capabilities.


Should be compatible with every DEI submod except those which change the melee weapons and the formation bonuses.
