Description

The successor of the now-removed "RDR1-Styled Combine Takedowns" addon for Garry's Mod. Adds simple 'n quick kill cams that occasionally trigger when you kill a NPC. Effect heavily inspired from Red Dead Redemption 2.

Features:
Every time you kill one of the allowed NPCs, there's a 25% chance for a kill cam effect to occur.

During a Killcam, there's another 40% chance for a short Slowdown Effect to trigger as well.

Stylized to resemble Red Dead Redemption kill cams with my own touch added to the mix.

The kill cam effect lasts for 0.7 seconds and doesn't take any control away from the player, apart from the camera angle change.

The player is invincible while the kill cam effect is active. sv_cheats 1 is recommended to be turned on.

Kill cams can only be triggered by killing one of the following NPCs:

- npc_combine_s
- npc_metropolice
- npc_zombie
- npc_fastzombie
- npc_poisonzombie
- npc_zombine
- npc_citizen
- npc_fastzombie_torso
- npc_zombie_torso

Updated to prevent the camera from spawning out of bounds when killing NPCs in tight areas.

Updated with a punchy sound effect that plays every time a kill cam triggers.

Limitations:
This addon has only been tested for Single Player. There may be unnoticed bugs during multiplayer matches.

There's no options to configure the addon in-game. I'm not good enough with LUA to add customizable settings. Download the addon and edit the code yourself to suit your preferences if you're not happy with the current values.

You should add settings so it can be customized like the chances of it or turn it off or something like that

i'll like to report a conflict between this and MWII takedowns
whenever i perform a takedown i keep getting this error message
