Southern Pacific 4460 is a GS-6 Class 4-8-4 Northern Type Steam Locomotive built by the Lima Locomotive Works in July of 1943 for the Southern Pacific Railroad, 4460 was first class of GS-6 to be built, there were suppose to 15 GS-6's for the SP as there planning to number them to 4460 through 4475, but 6 were delivered to the Western Pacific Railroad, so SP only had 10 of them, 4460 and her sisters, all though they are a GS-6 Class, they never saw in Daylight Paint Scheme or the side skirts for that matter. so instead they were painted into black & silver, 4460 and her sisters were assign to pull troop train to help submit war effort and giving them the nickname "War Baby's". following at the end of the war the 4460 and her sisters were reassign to pull passenger trains and freight trains, in 1958, the 4460 pulled the final movement of Southern Pacific Steam, the excursion was from Oakland, Sacramento California, Sparks Nevada, and then return, Southern Pacific will then retire 4460 after the excursions, in 1959, it was donated to the National Museum of Transportation in St. Louis Missouri, where it resides today, 4460 is known as the "Forgotten Daylight as her cousin engine GS-4 no. 4449 gets all of the attention.

its based on CB&Q 5632 when CB&Q painted her in gold (not sure how long 5632 wore it). 5632 in gold looks very neat, so i decided to include as what if CB&Q acquired 4460 for the steam program.
