Anthro Traits

Description
NOW IN BETA FOR BUILD 42!
Have you ever wondered what a real-life furry might experience during the zombie apocalypse? This mod--Anthro Traits--attempts to answer this question by adding in relatively realistic and balanced traits that are specific to Anthros. Choose between traits like Carnivore, Herbivore, Hoofed, Beast of Burden, or even... Stinky? Customize almost everything about these traits, including how strong they are, how many points they're worth, and more! Roleplay your fursona, a popular character, or any other Anthro in your quest to Die Just the Way you Want!

Compatibility
Generally, Anthro Traits is compatible with other mods. Anthro Traits has built-in compatibility for, but may not work perfectly with:
  • Expanded Traits
  • More Simple Traits
  • Simple Overhaul Traits and Occupations
  • More Traits
Anthro Traits may not play nice with mods that:
  • edit item tooltips.
  • edit character creation GUIs.
  • affect timed actions.
  • are "overhauls".
  • add the same sort of traits.
Positive Trait List
  • Anthro Immunity
Knox Infection is rare, even from bites. Optionally, be infected as normal from anthro zombies.
  • Beast of Burden
    Carry additional weight.
  • Bug-o-ssieur
You don't gain unhappiness or boredom when eating bugs.
  • Carnivore
Meat is more beneficial for your character, plants less.
  • Carrion Eater
Can eat rotten meat without getting sick, is more beneficial than usual.
  • Digitigrade
    Feet cannot be scratched.
    Stomps do more damage.
    +1 Sprinting.
    +1 Lightfoot.
    +1 Sneak.
  • Feral Body
    +1 Strength.
    -1 Fitness.
  • Food Motivated
Food makes you slightly less unhappy and bored.
Dog food doesn't make you unhappy.
  • Herbivore
Plants are more beneficial for your character, meat less.
  • Unguligrade (UN-gyuh-lih-grade)
Feet cannot be scratched, lacerated, or bitten. (glass is still a threat)
    Stomps do much more damage.
    +1 Sprinting.
    +1 Nimble.
  • Natural Tumbler
The damage and severity of your falls are reduced.
  • Tailed
    Reduces trip chance from zombies.
  • Vestigial Wings
    Don't take fall damage.

Negative Trait List
  • Exclaimer
Scream frequently when above panic level 1.
  • Feral Digestion
Chocolate and other foods poison you somewhat.
  • Lonely
Gain unhappiness every hour when away from other players too long.
  • Stinky
Attract zombies nearby when too dirty. Other players may comment on your smell.
  • Torpor
Lose a percentage of max endurance during winter.
  • Unwieldy Hands
Actions requiring fine motor control are slower.

A good amount of fixes and stuff. You can take a look at the changelog for more info; typically things backported to b41 are marked out specifically.

what ones?

@Spirit Eagle should still work on B41! Just some features will be missing

dose it still work on B41?

@possum screams Thanks for your suggestions! Feel free to put them in the suggestions post. In all likelihood I'll be adding some new traits (and have some more stability in the mod) after B42 officially releases.

@Khenji Bull Rush has been borked since I tried adding it soon after my first release. It doesn't function in MP so I removed it.

@Wraithweave it sounds like the rotten french fries did you in. Carrion Eater applies to rotten meats only. It sounds like that's a little confusing though; the "this food is poisonous to you!" is a warning that it's a food that triggers Feral Digestion's effects. Hopefully the rotten fries had red text numbers on it instead of green. If there's a way I could make that more clear, let me know!

really like how this mod is going, figured i'd throw some ideas on the table.

suggestions:

Scales - reduced scratch chance
winter coat - increased cold resistance
hunting instincts - when within 30 squares of a wild animal (and can see them), character becomes hungry, but gain a short movement bonus, similar to adrenaline junkie
