Some stuff:
What is ResetTime?
What is Impact of Change?
And, the number of Particles setting needs to be toned way down. It goes from 1 to 1 million. It goes to 1 frame per 20 seconds or whatever at that point. It also breaks and does not reset when other options are set. You know if you change anything it restarts the scene? Not after going to a million. I can't close the wallpaper. I have to switch to a different wallpaper just to close this one, and only an Application will work. It will not close the wallpaper if I select a different scene or video wallpaper. It just keeps going and is stuck.
I can do 10,000, but it's kind of iffy at that point. I tried 100,000, and that's slow but I can still change settings and have it reset. I'd say 5000 is a good upper limit. It looks good and makes sense to me.
my specs:
i7-12650H
3070
32GB RAM
Fixed that myself in the meantime.
I can send you the modified wallpaper with new defaults and additional settings.
P5's blendmodes are wierd.
I already tried that before I inserted the reset.
Unfortunately my shader couldn't tone down the colors enough for the screen to be black again. So the colors could still be seen.
Would love it even more if you would add a fade to background color option instead of a reset.
Basically a simple shader that adds a small amount of the background color to the whole screen each frame.
I find the reset quite jarring.
