Description
This mod is a continuation of the WH2 mod Old World Rites by Groove Wizard (formerly known as Vandy), bringing faction rites to all of the forgotten factions from WH1 (Empire, Bretonnia, Beastmen, Greenskins, Dwarfs, Warriors of Chaos, Norsca, Vampires and Wood Elves). This version includes a ton of changes to rite effects, costs and unlock conditions, bringing in new aspects introduced in WH3, new army abilities as well as completely new rites.

Mod Features
  • 4 faction rites for all WH1 factions + Cathay and Daemons of Chaos (59 Rites in total)
  • unique rites for WoC LLs dedicated to a specific Chaos God + Norscan LLs + Gelt + Elspeth + Malakai / Ungrim
  • adds a vertical scrollbar to the rites panel (special thanks to Rhox for the script and xml)
  • should be save game compatible

Compatibility
Should be compatible with basically everything.

Modding Out Any Of The Rites
If you want to remove specific rites, see this thread for instructions. Let me know if you need help with that.

Notes
Though I have tested almost everything there might still be some things that don't work as intended, as there is a lot of content for a lot of factions, so something could've slipped through. Please report any bugs and balance concerns and help me improve the quality of the mod.

Submods


MCT support allows you to enable all rites by default, no need to fulfill the necessary unlock requirements! You can also disable the rite animations.

  • Drunk Flamingo for writing most of the scripts from the original mod, many of which are still in use here.

@deltahost: Both effects were affecting all provinces (factionwide). The difference was just in the description text. Nonetheless I aligned them for consistency.

@Lenodiac: I included the script and xml files from Rhox again to add a vertical scroll bar to the rites panel. Can't remember why I removed them but it works again.

Hi there, great mod! One thing: for the Cathay rite, Power of Yin, the Yin Harmony is +1 factionwide, while the Power of Yang, Yang Harmony is +1 all provinces. Thanks!

Hey there! Is there any way to have both SFO and Old World Rites together? Cause the Old World Rites push the SFO's far from menu and makes them unclickable...
