This is the link to the script. It allows you to display the current shield power in various designs on LCDs.
Do you have enough energy? If so, you can check the shield points on the control panel or use the Display Script mod.
The shield also takes a while to build up.
The shield surrounds the ship like a second skin; you only see it when it needs to "work." Grab a weapon and shoot the grate it's attached to.

Is that a problem? The functionality still seems to be there.
For the record, this as the entire topic of licensing code is a massive rabbit hole, even for instance uploading to Steam is subjected to a lot of yellow tape. If Steam for instance has part of it's community TOS as anything uploaded to steam becomes owned by steam. That would take away the licensing right to the original author.
Long long topic, that probably isn't a place for a comments section for a mod.
Sadly, for a rework my skills are not enough yet :D
