i'm suggesting you guys to wait for the beta release of the b42, dont even try this mod as i said its far from perfect.
sure it does the job if you really want to hunt ur own game but i dont see any point of walking for hours lookin for traces and in the end all you do is rolling a dice to decide the fate of ur hunt and tbh it feels like its unbalanced for many char builds, i've tried to change the values in code to make it more balanced but its really labour intensive to balance those values to something realistic and fun at the same time for every single type of character build .
When I tried it, the character needed a gun and shells in their inventory to see the hunting options. It doesn't work if the gun is loaded. You have to have some shells or cock the gun on the spot and pull them out before trying it.
