Overview

This mod provides a GUI button to change local produce. The button can be found next to the local trade goods icon. When you press the button, the event to select the product type appears first, and you can select various trade products within the type.

As a realistic constraint, changing goods requires gold and political influence depending on the terrain.

Please refer to the image table for gold according to terrain. This table is based on personal thoughts, and we will give feedback if you present new opinions based on historical and practical grounds.

Additionally, some products may only be replaced in certain regions.
For example, Silphium can only be swapped in the Cyrenaica region. Camels can only be replaced in the Middle East. We will also give feedback if you present a new opinion based on historical and practical grounds.

Bug reports and inquiries are always welcome.
thank you

Invictus compatble but unstable.

As @Witless said:

It works as the last loaded mod in the list. But make the game crash after a certain number of days, so enable it only to change resources.

@damianvincent A weakness of the EU/imperator style trade good system is it can't really model how trade goods can change in a region over time, this can result in some really weird and ahistorical outcomes for certain regions

For example Noricum Et Rhaetia (modern day southern Germany) was Rome's single biggest source of iron, but in-game it doesnt have a single iron producing territory due to none of the tribes in the region at game-start exploiting it at a scale where it could be considered their primary trade good

A tip for people playing on the newest version of imperator, it still works but you need to load it after any mods that alter the province view ui, then it'll give you 2 seperate province view ui's, click on the top one to bring up the old version of it which'll let you change trade good

Personally I recommend keeping disabled until you need to change trade good, then disabling again, the old province menu seems pretty buggy

Hopefully someone updates this for the new Invictus UI soon

Bit late to the party. But this is a handy mod.

@pisceszan It has to be in specific regions. For example, I have only gotten Cinnabar to work in Spain, and I assume the same thing would happen with Jade only working out east. I know it isn't on the chart, but its whats worked for me.

could you add the resources from the Terra Indomita mod?

I cant seem to change regions into invictus modded goods Like cinnabar or jade. Silphium is fine at cyrenaica. My load order is as the above mentioned. I have INR invictus as well. thanks
