More Items and Artefacts

Hello there, let me introduce MIA a mod that adds 205 (for now) new items and artefacts in the game. All available for purchase from the jokaero trading camp and by exploring the Ruins of Vaul.

MIA is patched to work with the well made mod of Kurziel, EBF Super Heavy Wreck, you can find the patch here.

If you want that heroes can generates loot by killing enemy without using/buying the scrapping tools, you must use this add-on.

UPDATES

Since V3, it's possible to obtain items, resources and artefact with the Scrapping tools and Elite Scrapping tools (used like medpack to obtain a permanent buff) and by killing enemy. A lootable area will appear.

Since V16 the loot drop is more fair : (for the Ruins of Vaul, each item have 100% chance to drop)

Scrapping tools :
  • Relic 100% chance
  • Artefact 100% chance
  • Uncommon 200% chance
  • Common 300% chance

Elite Scrapping tools :
  • Relic 100% chance
  • Artefact 200% chance
  • Uncommon 200% chance
  • Common 200% chance

Since V26 all the Thirst for Blood -T-, Specialised -S-, Consumables -C- and Relic -R- have an index in order to make them more visible in the Jokaero.
An item can share two indexes if he had two special traits.

Special Traits
  • Basic necessities - It's an item usable by one or more factions only. Unlisted factions must sell it to the Jokaero camp. Those item can't be bought (the only exception for now is the Norn Crown) but only found (looting area or Ruin of Vaul).
  • Relic - A powerful item, much more than an Artefact, whose cost is higher than normal.
  • Thirst for blood - It's an item who will gain power each time the unit kills someone (weak in the beginning, strong in the end) grants more upkeep for the unit or more damage recieved if the item grants ressources.
  • Specialized - It's an item whose effect is targeted towards a type of unit, a faction or other (useless if not used against a right target).

Each items comes with their traits, stats, buff, debuff and flavors (and new icons now) and are totally lore-friendly and lore-immersive. If some could have been invented, I take inspiration by novels and games of the 40K universe to bring as much quality as originality.

The Excavator allows you to remove a special features with an new one that generates an item or artefact every 10 turns. Beware, the enemy can takes the place as well and steals the loot ! - This idea is from Mindrivet.

Unfortunately it doesn't have seemed to work. My theory is that fearless is getting applied at the same time as the Rubric buff, and therefore is still bypassing the morale reduction.

If possible could you have it set up to apply Fearless on the turn used, then Rubric the turn after?

I could also suggest putting 'Fearless' above 'Rubric' but I'm not sure if the game calls top down for effects first or still applied everything on the same turn.

The bug with the Grimoire seems to be tied to %morale loss. If a unit has %100 morale loss, they'll break when the buff is applied

You could also give the units effected with it "Fearless" as that works for the Tyranids.

Edit repost: For specifics, when Tyranids are under synaptic link, they get fearless. If the Grimoire is used on a non-synapse unit, they'll go 'broken'. If under the effects of Synaptic link when it's used, they won't.

Please fix Archiman's grimoire. Every time I use it, it also gives a permanent broken state, leaving units worse than before.

Ah okay so it's 10% added on before the "hero" trait which has a massive +1000% attacks...gotchya

Yes, the buff is +10% but it's based of attacks of the unit, if the hero have 3 attacks by default, each kill will provide him +0.3 attacks.

Question: claws of the black hunt says it increases melee attacks by 10%...I'm assuming the intention was per kill...so my blood angel hero has 33 melee attacks, but it only goes up by .3 per kill so after 2 kills he's at 33.6 melee attacks...is that working as intended? Seems like that would be a 1% increase in melee attacks per kill.

It's strange, i restricted the use for vehicle. Just tried, and i can't target a single tile.
