Description
* Do you like Dr Gonzo's Destruction and Depopulation Mod but you think that the destruction of buildings and even holdings is a bit too much? Do you think that maybe AIs should be able to destroy your provinces (to a certain level)? If you answered YES to those questions above, then you will like this mod...


Features
  • Raze provinces, to temporarily weaken your enemy! (no buildings will be destroyed, so no permanent damage)
  • Loot everything from a province to cut off your rival's income!
  • Destroy the defenses of your enemy and lower their prestige!
  • Burn the churches of the infidels and lower their MORAL AUTHORITY!
  • After every siege, a province has a chance to receive some minor problems... This works for the AI as well.

Languages

Currently, this mod is only in English. If anybody wants a translation, request it in the "Suggestions" thread.


Compatibility

It should be compatible with every mod, except some total conversion mods.

You can make it combatible with Elder Kings by adding " to its ".mod". Change the Elder Kings to "Elder Kings".

(If you find any mods that are somehow not compatible, tell me in the "Bugs and Balancing" thread.)


Other Recommended Mods

- Better Forts and Forts not consumed - These two mods combined give you some additional defense so you can protect your provinces from raiders and invading armies.

- CK2RPG Watch the World Burn - If you want to be able to fully destroy holdings, then this mod does exactly that.

Nice, cool, been trying to find something like this.
Small suggestion: the ability to have an "I've changed my mind" option in the raid menu would be nice, since right now mis-clicking the option to not spare the people resigns you to choosing a raiding option on a target you might otherwise not want to raid.

@Kartoshka yes it is allowed for all cultures and religions. Even in total conversion mods, if you take the right steps mentioned in "Compatibility".

Is the looting allowed for religions/cultures that can't normally loot, or no? I've been looking for a mod that lets non-looters loot their enemies during war specifically, preferably for a very large opinion malus, since such things were known to happen in reality.

@Imperator of Rome No, currently no options destroy buildings. This mod only adds temporary consequences so you cannot just annihilate all of your enemies by raiding.

@Sullis No, only the player can use the decisions, but every province after its capital is sieged will get a random debuff modifier, even if it wasnt a player who sieged it. The modifiers are very minor, but add some more randomness and rp.

You do not need to do anythinf with the ek021 file. What you need to do is:
1. Edit "path_of_destruction.mod.mod"
2. Look for "dependencies="
3. Change Elder Kings to "Elder Kings"
Note: Just add the quotation marks

After that it should work.
