Description:
Why is it that your lost and naked pawns know about the locations of every faction bases and landmark on the planet? Want to have a challenging experience exploring the planet for the first time? Rimworld Exploration mode now adds immersive exploration to your game with minimal performance impact.

Mod Features:
  • Unexplored tiles and world-level fog-of-war.
  • Discover biome names as you explore.
  • River-crossing movement penalty and sight penalty over difficult terrain.
  • Pawns drops maps revealing unknown locations (better pick them up fast).
  • Satellite Hacking (Alternative for Rimnaut's launched satellite) and Integration with Rimnauts 2 satellites.
  • Ally shared-vision.
  • Reveal nearby locations through recruitment.
  • Aerial Caravans ignores terrain cover and has +2 tile range.
  • Odyssey player orbital bases now reveal the world map (tiles only).
  • Work-in-progress RWE mod options (Free to Suggestions)

Hi!
I am getting errors every time I click any tile on location selection screen with disabled FOW on world creation - line 2951:

The error does not seem to affect anything but is logged every time I check tiles.

Mutator icons is displaying over world fog, allowing me to get an idea of what is around me.

I''m getting some performance issues with this mod, traced it to
Worldobject_DynamicAerialVehicleCheck_RWE:Postfix via perf analyzer. I'm not sure what's up with that as I'm just landed on one tile with the gravship, nothing is moving on the world map. 100% coverage world though and I only started noticing once I flew around a few times and explored some world map bits. If I remove this mod it's all smooth sailing again.

I'm not sure, but I was using both of them on a previous modlist. Even came back here, because I mistook this feature to be in Real Fog of War instead, lol. But yeah, excellent mods, with a great synergy when used together

@TheLastBulletBender there should be an improved visibility if you go to space with a gravship... I think its silly to not be able to see beyond the first few tiles once you are in the low planet orbit...
