Description
TerraTyping, created by CrimsonTek.

What does it do?
TerraTyping adds Pokemon-esque types to Terraria! Every vanilla weapon and enemy is given a type, and types that are effective will deal more damage. I included the 18 types found in Pokemon, as well as Blood and Bone to round out the Crimson and Dungeon biomes respectively.

This mod adds mainly functionality. This means you can try it in a world you've already started, and it will work perfectly!

- Made a small addition to how Tooltip Overrides work.

- Added a new "Balance Config" to balance damage and HP of enemies. The player has quite the advantage being able to select the most optimal type for any situation, so you may use this to make it tougher (or easier if you choose).

This would need to be configurable per weapon and NPC for me to like it. If it were me, I'd also cut out a lot of the fluff and just leave the types and maybe weather-based weaknesses/resistances.
I'd be interested in a Weaknesses and Resistances system in Terraria, but not like this.

let us give specific types to modded stuff like melee effects+ has a little thing where you can put the melee effect on modded weapons that for some reason dont have it
