More Realistic Manpower Requirements

Description
I have always disliked that manpower usage in hoi4 is so small compared to real life, even just in the combat units, so with this mod I slightly (or in some cases drastically) increased the manpower usage of most units to a historical number as well as some of the equipment they use.

The best example is the artillery brigade, raised from a measly 500 men to a historical 2100, accounting for 700 men per battalion in 3 battalions. Most support companies (historically support battalions) were also changed, with engineers now being 800 men and recon being 600, among others.

The cost of motorized and mechanized equipment was reduced by 35% and 25% respectively to account for the extra equipment requirements of some battalions, like motorized infantry which now requires 100 trucks, or mechanized being 60 mech and 40 trucks.

Strength damage from combat was raised by 50% for deadlier battles closer to real life.

Manpower used by airwings was massively increased as well, this may seem excessive, but it serves to more closely represent the massive personnel size of airforces during the war not just as pilots, but also all the logistics, base services, security and many other roles that were required and used a lot of manpower.

I heavily reccomend using this with Arcane's Better Mechanics Combat, Better Mechanics Production, Better Mechanics Divisional AI and almost all other Better Mechanics mods that affect the ai or combat for a better experience with the AI using challenging divisions and casualties being more on par with what was experienced in WW2. I also heavily reccomend Expert AI, but there can be some compatibility issues with Better Mechanics, the three I mentioned above are compatible though.

(you have to go to manpowermoddefines)

I did some digging and found out strength damage was raised to 0.90 when the base modifier is 0.06, if you want to remove the issue while you're playing this, open the mod in folder and edit the 0.9 to be something more like 0.06-0.15

@ooo9ps what were your templates? were you fighting with air support? were you outnumbered? Having good templates is essential and fighting in unfavourable conditions will always result in high casualties

@huassenbeiger i get what you trying to make game more realistic but reality i lost half of my division in 5 days or wipe out all Ai division in 3 months which is not really realistic.

@ooo9ps thats more or less realistic, divisions get depleted very fast after long periods of intense combat, and they need time to refit and rest, thats why most armies would usually rotate their units that were worn out. Divisions being at full strength all the time is not realistic at all. Even in ukraine we can see this.

50% strength damage is way too high, AI division are gone after 3 months into battle, otherwise this mod will be perfect

@Kv-2 Self Propelled Artillery this really shouldn't be an issue with mods that improve the AI like BM: Frontline AI and Better AI | 1.15, as the AI should be smart enough and use good enough divisions as to not just senselessly attack but actually focus their attacks wherever they know they have a chance. However, if you wish to modify it still, you'll have to look for the mod in your workshop mod folder, for this i reccomend using keywords to find it. Once you do, go into the common folder, then defines, and there you can open the defines file and edit the value or just delete it to revert it to normal.

The increased manpower requirements are really nice, however the increased damage really messes up the AI, they end up killing 70% of their army in suicide charges against fortified positions and wars end up with only about two million casualties because nobody has any divisions left. Is there any way I could modify the mod on my end to decrease the strength damage? Or are these issues just the result of something Im doing?
