Is something I always wanted to add to this game. 🤔
The idea behind this mod is to completely overhaul mechanics in this game.

What does this mod offer?
  • Engine swapping.
  • The ability to restore car wrecks.
  • Profession: Automobile Engineer
  • Hotwire removal.

F.A.Q

Does it work in Multiplayer?
Of course it does!

Does it work on existing saves?
Yes! Just activate it and have fun!

How do I modify car engines?
You will need the adequate level in the mechanics skill.
Engines can be removed from, and reinstalled in any vehicle.

How do I repair car wrecks?
You will need to read the magazine for the type of wreck you wish to repair.
Adequate levels in the mechanics, metalworking, and electricity skills, as well as some materials, are also required.

Is the mod compatible with [...]?
This mod shouldn't have any incompatibility with other mods.

b42 please, also it would be nice if u would add more car details. like changing doors with another vechicle would leave original door paint etc. but I love it anyway :DDD

Hello! Thank you for making such an awesome module. But I found a bug that when the car engine is removed, its horsepower value is reset.

For example, if there is a 360 hp engine installed in a sports car, when removing it, its horsepower will become 520 hp.
