The Tasker II

The Tasker II is a long-range Expeditionary vehicle and all-purpose tasker. The ship was built to be the ultimate Ease-of-use luxury player vehicle for completing any task in the game. It is an absolute joy to fly and fight with, it is a ship which does everything, and does it at incredible efficiency. The Tasker II can hold ALL 8 Shield banks, 1 Fusion Core, and up to 2 Arrays. It will kill a Dreadnaught at just 2-3 Aux cores and has FORTY TWO Turret firmpoints for easy upgrade into an Attack-Corvette role... This ship can take you all the way through the game if desired.

With a standard loadout of 8 Advanced Lasers, 10 Positron turrets, 6 Minigun turrets, and a 30,000 Hitpoint Fast re-charge shield, the Tasker II absolutely hoses both Swarmers & drones, and can engage in Medium ship-to-ship combat w/ an onboard Tool turret for quick salvage.

The Tasker II has 8 CV laser drills configured in a line formation for ideal targetting of both pentaxid and large deposit asteroids. The ship Yaws/pitches/rolls at a Uniform 70 Degrees, for the ultimate in Ease-of-handling while mining, it is a beautiful Laser miner. High-G Lift and Mammoth Forward-drive for Top speeds with Ore & salvage loads, the Tasker II can push heavy cargo, & can set down on a High-G planet, or engage in High-G combat maneuvers in Orbit.

With 4 x 320k Storage, 8 Laser drills, Tool-Turret standard, 1 Advanced constructor, and 4 Small constructors, The Tasker II is a full-service factory ship, she can produce her own upgrades, and simultaneously turn Ore-to-ingots or produce large-volume ammunition as you mine.

The Tasker II will fly for FOREVER with it's Shield & Radar ON ( Weapons OFF ). It expends ZERO energy use outside of comba with a full compliment of FORTY EIGHT Solar Panels, this vehicle will go far into deep space and complete its mission without resupply.

100% unimpeded forward views, The Tasker II's "Cockpit of the Gods" includes all medical equipment, shower, suicide cockpit doors, & instantaneous drone-launch after leaving your seat. The Tasker II is a ship which does everything, does it well, & upgrades into a Performance Attack-corvette w/ up to 160k Shield, 42 Heavy Turrets, and mounts a full spread of up to 20 Manual weapons.

While the Tasker II is not qualified as a "battleship" per se, I can kill anything in the game in this ship, easily and at lower CPU levels than your typical battleship, and so can you. This is a ship whose performance, luxury, and convenience will make you question whether you ever want to fly another, she is the proudest & newest member of my performance corvette line.
