The Immunity Compendium V1.2

Description
What the mod does:
This is a fully configurable mod that adds multiple immunity perks to the game, each of which can be individually turned off.
The mod also allows you make Toxic Immunity also give acid immunity, Slime blood give glue immunity, and Fire Immunity give lava immunity. This feature is turned on by default.
Everything can be configured through the vanilla mod settings menu. There is no custom UI that clutters your screen.

Please leave a like. Likes and awards seem to be the basis for a mod's "popularity" stat, so I'd suggest leaving a like on all the mods you use a lot. If you have a lot of points I would recommend leaving lower cost awards on the mods you actively use. Higher cost awards do not seem to boost "popularity" much more than lower cost ones.

2024 Update 1.2
Fixed a ton of bugs.
You can now choose to start with any of the immunity perks.
Added Drill Immunity as an option for Earth Immunity.
Added plasma immunity.
Fixed Lava Immunity
Changed freeze immunity's frozen material option to be a slider that changes the amount of damage taken instead of it being a bool.
Compatibility with Removable perks has been added.

List of perks that are added:
Perk Name:
Perk Effects:
Acid Immunity
Gives acid immunity. Disabled by default.
Freeze Immunity
Prevents you from being frozen. Also reduces damage from freezing materials to 0, but this damage reduction can be set to anything you want.
Curse Immunity
Makes you immune to curse type damage. You can also choose to let this perk make you immune to cursed materials. PLEASE NOTE that this only makes you immune to curse damage, and damage directly related to some sort of curse. This includes Venomous Curse, materials with "cursed" in their name, and curse damage itself.
Earth Immunity
You can't be crushed by physics objects. NEW in v1.2: Drill Immunity is added to this perk by default.
Lava Immunity
Makes you immune to lava. Disabled by default.
Plasma Immunity
Makes you immune to plasma beams. You can alter the perk to give damage reduction instead of immunity. (New in v1.2)
Poison Immunity
Makes you immune to poison.
Polymorph Immunity
Makes you immune to polymorph.
Projectile Resistance
This perk is off by default. You can configure it to give 100% resistance, or leave it at the default of 40% resistance.
Slice Immunity
Your disc projectiles do no self damage to you, and you gain 100% slice immunity.

Special thanks to:
Goki, who allowed me to use his mod, Goki's Things, as a reference for many features in this mod.

The wizards on the modding support section on the Noita discord, who were always there to answer any questions I had.

Horscht, who was one of those wizards on the Noita discord that helped me when I was getting started, and the creator of Removable perks, the only mod that this one explicitly compatible with. If you can't remove one of my perks with this mod, that's a bug. Feel free to post a comment about it.
(NOTE: This mod must be further down your mod list than Removable perks.)

Lastly:
Feel free to use any parts of this mod you want. If you have any questions feel free to ask.
If anyone has any features they'd like included in this mod drop a comment below and there's a good chance it'll be added in the next update.

For completion's sake, I think Holy Immunity or Holy Resistance should exist, too. Vanilla base game has extremely few sources of Holy damage, but there's no telling what other mods can add.

Huh, I could've sworn that cessation worked last time I tested it with poly immunity. I haven't been playing or modding Noita in quite a while, but I've added a note to double-check this when I eventually update the mod again.

Also, I'd like to leave a note here that I don't guarantee mod compatibility with anything other than Removable Perks, which is widely used and has instructions for making mods compatible with it.

In fact the wiki and people on the discord say cessation works by polymorphing you into an empty entity. It makes sense that polymorph immunity prevents this. However, you might still consider writing an exception somehow, for player convenience?

You do know you can back up your save? I've seen many streamers do it to quickly test some mod that chat wanted them to try.

Could you try it out and see how it is for you?

Just like what @deimosx6 said on the previous page, cessation has no effect on me when I use this mod and have polymorph immunity (although I'm too chicken to take it off to 100% confirm and risk killing my run)

- With the mod Oaken's Spells, Plasma Immunity doesn't protect from the plasma left behind by that mod's plasma sawblades

- With the mod Apotheosis, Curse Immunity protects against the cursed rock walls that separates parallel worlds, but not the cursed fluid that the mod adds inside those walls

I couldn't tell you for sure without looking into the code, but I assume both cases are those materials not being tagged properly maybe

But that's a good thing? Just add water trail and watch hiisi be confused. You can learn to press opposite direction, they can't.
