B5 Species - Shadows

Description
The Shadows is the name given to an ancient race who were among the oldest of the First Ones. The name "Shadows" was given to them by the younger races as their actual name is unknown, though it is said to be over ten thousand letters long and unpronounceable by any of the younger races. They believe that for races to evolve into their full potential, they must do so through a cycle of chaos: growth through pain and struggle, conflict and war. Weak races die. Strong races are made even stronger. With this they developed their First Principles: chaos through warfare, evolution through bloodshed, perfection through victory.

This mod add Shadows from Babylon 5 as playable custom species.

Most of the mod features are tied to Shadows Origin, choose it if you want a full experience. Be aware that shadow gameplay is slightly different than usual empires. You must always look for fights and be constantly at war with someone or you will have solid penalties and eventually could lose ability to build ships.

FAQ:
1. How to acquire Sentience Module.
- By destroying enemy ships with have humanoids inside (ai and space monsters doesn't count)
- By activating Edict "Tears of the lost"
- By purging pops.
- By Acquiring Shadow Tradition "Streib"

2. lords of chaos civic doesn't show up.
- It's a gestalt civic, you need to choose Hive Mind first.

Thanks for the prompt update @LukavSlambert; I've been working on a combined species mod for B5 and I've got your Shadows mods as dependencies (Fully credited of course). I was getting some feedback about this issue and hadn't much of an idea how to fix it

I can't get the latest Stellaris update to make Shadow ships now. Bummer! I love this mod!

@LukavSlambert thanks for the update. i appreciate your time is valuable and will patiently wait for when you can update. if possible can you consider my previous suggestion to implement this mod with a vorlon component. that would be amazing.

Mod is not updated to recent Stellaris updates, there is not eta on when I wll have time to do so, sorry.

yeah, this mod breaks a few things. notable is you cant select the power core for the new citadel when this is active.. i narrowed it down to this mod causing the problem

The Tenebris Rings destroy the mining station assigned to Wormseed, making the resources shown, with no way to build mining station on it. Also, Tenebris rings shipyards do nothing.

Amazing mod ! Just please, i don't know why but it crash when i try to play with it on star wars legacy of the old republic :(
Do you think you could do somthing about that if you have time ? I use many other mod and they dont seems to have problem.

@Lt_Col_Insane this mod doesn't tuch files related to fauna ships or ai auto design in general. Could be a bug in stellaris itself.
