XEBON Battlecruiser

Description
Finally got this posted! It was originally built sometime in 2014 and only received a few upgrades since then but hasn't been touched for 6 years probably. You may have seen it featured in numerous official Space Engineers update and main menu videos over the years. I think it's most known for it's appearance in the "Update 1.188 - Airtightness" video.

It's mostly an empty hull that I never got around to finishing sadly. Because of this, I'm releasing it alongside a contest to find the best 2022 retrofit of the ship which should be interesting as we have so many new blocks at our disposal now. Not even 2x1 armor slopes existed when I first started work on this! As long as it stays recognisable, you can make whatever changes you like but watching the video below will help you understand my original vision for it.

The winner of the contest will be posted on the KeenSWH workshop as the "Keen approved" version and I will try my best to use it in a future SE update trailer!

Is there a link to the workshop where the "world" in which the screenshots were taken is located? I was interested in the station and a long ship with tanks.

Hey 👋 Xoclin. Thanks for reviewing my ship. Sorry about the hangar doors believe it or not it was my first time using sensors and timer blocks. 😆 I'm glad you like the lighting I was going for a Halo vibe. I could have done more to the ship but had other real life things to handle. The BIO lab test subjects came from a Sci Fi movie I was watching while I was upgrading this ship. So I thought it would be hilarious or disturbing but it would shock you and get your attention if the ship tour went a little too long. Just something to hold your attention but thanks again

even with extra time we had i'm not gonna make it for contest my ships still month or two away I built too big plus real life problems have bogged me down slowing work ill get it released some day lol just not in time for contest. got life to deal with first...

Hey this is the white ship! I was actually working on this myself! I was in the process of building the hull for this but you beat me to it! Darn you! But also I love you man, you saved days of work.

I just found out about the contest, i hope and i have time to finish it. Looking at your explanation many ideas came to me and maybe even later i will implement them in my other designs.

Really pleased to hear that @banksman45 and yes, I think we are going to see some amazing builds!

Due to the delay announcing the submission method, everyone now has until the end of month to finish their build so maybe there's still hope for you @StormSpiritGB :)

To be honest this was pretty fun. I've never finished someone else's ship before. With the DLCs and the new updates over the last 3 years I won't be surprised if some of you guys turned this ship into something that belongs in a triple-A game. .
