Beskrivning
Dawn Of Ascension is a mod that brings forth the ascension into the technological age of Dark Matter.
With this comes new ship types, fallen empire automated industries and upgrades, new civics, a new ascended shipset and more!

Dawn Of Ascension 3.0 has been rewritten from the ground up and is made with compatibility in mind. The mod overwrites 0 vanilla files. DoA 3.0 also comes with a brand new ascension situation, far longer than the previous one with brand new exciting content

  • Start the ascension project and become an Ascended Empire!
  • 3 new event chains to gain Dark Matter Power!
  • 2 different ascension situations depending on your settings and if ACOT is enabled or not
  • New ascended empire shipset that varies depending on your flag colours
  • Fallen empire buildings and upgrades
  • National ambition civics for ascended empires
  • 10 new ascendant ship classes!
  • 2 new tech tiers of components
  • ASB weapon effects!
  • & much much more

Compatibility stuff

  • Works well with majority of mods
  • ACOT has no issues with DoA
  • Acquisition of Technology has in-built compatibility with DoA
  • Does NOT currently support NSC for the DoA shipset
  • load order generally doesn't matter, outside of if you use Acquisition of Technology (AOT), then that needs to go below DoA
  • UIOD is recommended for the bigger ships added by DoA

The big issue is that by the time I've remembered that "Oh shit Fallen Empires have like half a dozen attack moons" I am already getting folded by a roided out Behemoth Planetcraft.

Man, Gigas makes ascending a true nightmare of an event lmao. Not that it's your fault but it's just hilarious that every time I try to play with it, I forget about the fact that Fallen Empires fucking unfold when they wake up.

classic ascension is automatically picked when using acot because normal ascension is pure overlap when using acot. the difference is almost everything though

Classic has a few events, a few bonus techs, civics, and takes about 10 years, it was the first thing i made and it has not really been my focus in 2 years.

normal ascension: includes new ship types, 2 new tiers of components, a lot more story events, civics, custom weapon effects, and so on.
