That is possible and actually a pretty good idea. I might add that into the v2 overhaul of this mod. The only issue is you can’t add multiple browsers like you can with operating systems.
I mostly looked at the ingame software and wiki to find out how it works. The scripting is similar to C#, so if you know the basics of that you should be able to do understand it.

If you want to go even further in depth, you can enter LIST_SCOPE_MEMBERS into the ingame console and it will list all of the stuff you can mess around with. You have to go into the keymapping settings in order to set a key to access the console.
I've been working on my own small mod and have found looking at your code to be way more helpful in learning how the game works then anything on the modding wiki.
