Description

Arma 3 Revolución is an expansion to the Arma 3 Aegis mod suite detailing a South American theater of combat inspired by Colombia, Belize, Venezuela, and Mexico set in the 2035 Armaverse. Arma 3 Revolución details conflict in the fictional nation of Baracas, set on the South American coast of the Caribbean Sea.

Content
The Baracan Defense Force (FDB), a new BLUFOR faction detailing the armed forces of the Baracan Republic, using locally licensed Velkos and Zafirs; along with NATO lend-leased equipment. Abolished in years past to make way for a CSAT puppet government, they have been recently reformed due to the reinstatement of the true government of Baracas.
Socialist Revolutionary Armed Forces (FASR), a new OPFOR faction using a variety of CSAT supplied weaponry and high-tech equipment. Originally a far-left rebel organization formed during the 80’s, once CSAT’s puppet government in Baracas was formed, FASR was christened Baracas’s chief security force once the FDB was abolished. Now that the FDB has been reformed, FASR has returned to their roots, conducting an insurgent campaign with the aid of their foreign benefactors.
Cartel of Baracas (CDB), a new Independent faction using mostly black market equipment for their low-level personnel, and state of the art tactical equipment for their Sicarios. With the events in the past few years, the Cartel of Baracas has become emboldened in the power vacuum created.
Venezuela, a new OPFOR faction detailing Venezuela’s CSAT deployment force, Jaguar Regiment. Deployed officially to Baracas for peacekeeping operations, Venezuelan forces have been covertly supplying FASR with arms and equipment under the directive from the Canton Protocol. Now that the FDB has been reformed and Venezuela is in the process of withdrawing its forces, tensions between the two factions are at an all time high.
Republican Restoration Front (FRR), a new insurgent faction in BLUFOR, OPFOR, and independent. During the reign of the CSAT puppet regime, the FRR formed to combat FASR and their foreign overlords. Upon the reinstatement of the true government of Baracas, cells of the FRR refused to lay down arms; citing that their work wasn’t done due to rampant corruption.
The Policia Nacional de Baracas (PNB), represent the law enforcement of the nation of Baracas. Due to the ever-present threat posed by the Cartels within the country, they are a heavily armed and pseudo-military force that has managed to navigate the turbulent regime changes relatively intact. Under CSAT's puppet government they received greater funding and donations of military surplus from the East to assist in keeping order during the unrest that ensued after the coup. After the successful counter-revolution that swept away the CSAT regime and reinstalled the rightful government, they have been allowed to remain as they are, with the government arguing that their expanded mandate and militarised nature is necessary to preserve order during the transition back to a democratic republic, especially as the Cartel de Baracas have expanded their operations in the chaos of the civil war. Critics of their, often brutal, methods disagree, and government support of the PNB is held up by the FRR as one example of the corrupt nature of the nation's leadership.
CTRG Group 9, a deep cover CTRG recon team inserted into Baracas to ascertain CSAT's motives. Includes flannel CTRG operator uniforms and a Dazzle camo Modular vest.
Panther Teams, Venezuela's answer to CTRG in Baracas. These operators have been tasked with stopping CTRG wherever they can.

Hey, I just noticed while trying to play this mod with a few friends on my server that it's key is not signing the mod properly, not such a big deal since we can just disable key signing but I figured it's worth a comment

Thanks for the great mods :)

A good mod. I am very happy that such an unusual South American theatre got some attention and 2035 stuff with a deep lore.
Yet there are two bugs I found:
1) Venezuelian faction medics don't have a "Medic trait" that makes a game consider that they can use medical equpment (That goes to both army, special forces and Panther groups). Same problem seem to appear on FASR Death squad medics;
2) Every Venezuelian mechanized group consist of BTR-100 and 8 soldiers, yet BTR-100 has only 6 seats. In original Atlas mod there is Russian faction that uses such templates with BTR-100 and 6 soldiers, so maybe that's the way to go.
Other than that, I like this mod a lot with it's good quality and setting.
