Ferrofluid Armor - Low tech shields

Description
A small modification of https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=484504816

Ferrofluid armor uses "capillaries" in a ship's armor to circulate ferrofluid. The stuff sticks to the armor, sealing small leaks and negating light damage, as well as removing small debris.

Manufacture ferrofluid at an assembler and load it into the ferrofluid pump for use. In combat, the pump can recycle scrap metal into ferrofluid at a 50% material loss.

Credit to SomeguySomewhere for the idea.

This mod was developed so I could create some of the ships from Photon Knights ( https://emlia.org/pmwiki/pub/web/PhotonKnights.PhotonKnights.html ) in Space Engineers.

Please revisit this mod. It looks so promising!

I need to get my brain back to where it works properly, but do want to finish it :) especially since we're ramping up Photon Knights again.

Seconding expressed interest in seeing this revisited. With the few remaining quirks worked out, this would arguably be the most strategically engaging of current shield mods.

Hey just came across this mod recently and i'm wondering if that iron issue mentioned earlier was ever figured out?

Hello! I've encountered a couple of small issues that i thought you might want to know about. Firstly, the pumps don't seem to gain Ferrofluid in creative, even if i add some in manually. I am unsure why this is. Secondly, the pumps seem to be detecting damage wrong for me, as adding ferrofluid to the pump results in scrap metal being created. The same happens with scrap metal, creating an infinite cycle of scrap recycling.

In a second note, the small grid version is quite large and difficult to fit on small vehicles. Perhaps a smaller version with less hitpoints? Finally, i do see upgrade slots on the sides of the ferrofluid pump models, are you planning on adding upgrade modules sometime in the future?

Just following up to see if you were able to track down that issue. If there is anything I can do to help troubleshoot or test, please just let me know.

Thanks! I think I have half an idea of wha the issue may be.

@spiritpluber - regarding my iron-ore eating issue, I tried grinding down and rebuilding my assember (only 1 on grid) and ferrofluid pumps (4 of them on grid) and it did not correct the 'behavior' (bug). They still suck up every bit of iron ore they can find.

Btw, noticed someone was asking, it does work with weaponcore. Weaponcore weapons however can do quite a lot of dmg.

thanks!
