Report a translation problem
Currently there isn't a way to do that other than filling a player's 4 inventories (main, piggy bank, safe and forge). However, v0.7 will introduce new content that allows you to "extract" the items from a Storage Unit into one "storage core" item.
The document in the pinned Bugs/FAQ discussion has instructions on how to force mods to install. See if following them helps.

Those filters are very simple and work when only Magic Storage and its dependency are enabled. Some other mod must be doing something to cause the filters to malfunction like that.
