Description
Features
Adds four unique lords available to all wood elf factions.
Ceol, B'yalten, Luunis and Ibalba.
The four Hounds of Kurnous



Unlocking them
Each hound is tied to a different magical forest. When you start the ritual of rebirth at one of these forests, a pop-up will notify you that a Hound has been unleashed. It's available to recruit right away so can take part in fighting the intercept armies spawned by the ritual.

Mortal Empires
  • Ceol is at the Forest of Gloom
  • B'yalten is at the Sacred Pools
  • Luunis is at Oreon's Camp
  • Ibalba is at Laurelorn Forest

Eye of the Vortex
  • Ceol is at Gaean Vale
  • B'yalten is at the Sacred Pools
  • Luunis is at Oreon's Camp
  • Ibalba is at the Witchwood

If the player is not wood elves and this mod is enabled, then the Hounds will be divided between the AI factions, becoming available to them automatically at turn 30.

Recommended Mods
The vast majority of their skill tree is dedicated to buffing Animal units.
One of their unique skills buffs embedded Animal Keepers.
Technically this mod will run without either of the above, but I designed them to work together.

Are these loreful?
Depends who you ask.
But I'm not interested in changing my mods to better suit lore.

Using them
All hounds have -15% upkeep for animals and +200% upkeep for elves (but not heroes).
The player can invest in a skill that removes the additional upkeep from elven cavalry (and also buffs wild riders a bit)

In battle, the Hounds are monstrous duelists. They excel at killing mounted lords and other monsters due to their anti-large and scaling damage. They are terrible at killing chaff. Seriously. Without buffs and items they will lose if left stuck in a unit of halberdiers, simply because they can't kill them fast enough.

you make the best mods, would be a shame if this one stayed in warhammer 2, your mods for the wood elves are the things that actually them feel unique.

Been a while since i opened this mod. I believe so yes you need a new game for the script to fire. You could alwats use the console command tool mod to spawn in the desired lord.
